  3. \Selling my Sony F65 camera with a ton of extras. I’m based in NYC. Selling for $22,000. This wonderful beast of a camera has a mechanical shutter, 16-bit raw, up to 120 FPS, beautiful skin tones and wonderful sharpness. Such an amazing camera. I am selling it to finance my wife’s feature film. Loading footage from it is easy, after Sony finally released a USB 3.0 card reader for it. It has 2050 hours on it, most have been used in a studio setting. It has been otto nemenz-ized, which gives it a bunch of power options and a nice flexible viewfinder space. It comes with the: sr-d1 USB 3.0 card reader sr-pc4 ethernet card reader 1 tb s25 MEDIA card 2 x 256gb s50 media card 2 x 512gb s50 media card sony*HDVF-C30WR viewfinder. control panel with cable anton bauer mount Frezzi Universal Juicebox Power Supply Please call or text me at 917-449-0739 or email me at ed.david@gmail.com for more info.
  4. Thanks so much for these - double leko sounds cool or double joker. And a m18 sounds still the most versatile for a low-budget - putt-putt generator 2500w guy for lighting. Thanks again guys Ed
  5. Hi guys Just saw Dayveon at the Berlinale film festival - gorgeous film by Dustin Lane. I am seeing how he made this super natural daylight beam hitting his bed? I always try to make a beam, using a joker 800 or jo leko and it always feels kind of fake - is it just using some 1/4 or 1/2 cto on the light - and maybe it is a jo-leko? thanks

  8. Hi guys - apologize if this has been asked before doing a high speed 240 FPS shooting in an existing hospital - question - can I switch out the overhead tubes for kino bulbs and not have flicker? and can I use LED lighting like litemats? what can i get away with besides flicker-free HMIs bouncing into ceilings, etc etc? thanks! Ed
  9. HI guys I'm looking at litegear rgb chroma light as a way to quickly make colored party gel looks for shoots. wondering if there is another LED film lighting manufacturer that also does this? Just seeing what the options are thanks ed
  10. thank you guys - your knowledge is incredibly useful. The last time I used party gels was back in like 2008 with the hxv200 and I was an idiot for stopping at that because that camera could not handle color at all. I'm going to start doing some testing asap now that I have the sony f35 which can handle color much much much much better.
  11. thank you very much - just ordered the Storaro collection and will start using all this stuff asap.
  12. I just watched "Beast of No Nations" which I highly recommend - it's on netflix. And the deep reds and blues and orange. And then there is Spring Breakers that has the most amazing deep color. What do you guys use as tools to create these deep colors - is it a certain Lee gel over a tungsten light - is it special colored kino bulbs. I know it depends on the scene - but does anyone have a fall-back type of light they like to use for making these really deep colors?
