I have a Sony 200-600mm lens and 1.4x extender on a Sony a7s iii. I use this rig for shooting surfers. Needless to say, using the collar mount (directly on the quick release fluid head plate) adds quite a bit of camera shake to the lens. Any ideas how to mount camera + Lens to my tripod? I'm looking for a quick-release solution, preferably on 15mm rods, where both camera cage and lens mount are using quick release plates, and the base plate is long enough to balance the camera on the fluid head. I'll be using a strobe (flash) on an HD shoot. I've seen this in the past but it never seems to work well (strobe duration and shutter angle/shutter speed issues). Any ideas, tips or thoughts you can share with me?
