  1. Concerning Conrad Hall's famous shot from "In Cold Blood" with streaks of light from rain on a window reflected on a character's face -- is it possible that this was done years earlier by Russell Metty in the Sirk film "There's Always Tomorrow" (1956) with Barbara Stanwyck as the face in question? Saw it yesterday, and the similarity of the two shots is astounding.
