I'm just wondering if anybody can help me! I have just bought a k-3 from the Ukraine and it turned up 2 days ago, when I look through the viewfinder the image I see is slightly yellow and there seems to be a grainy effect as well! Is this right or have I ruined the camera by cleaning the inside mirror and the little retangle thing above it with 'thinners'? If I have, is there anyway that I can rectify this mistake?
I am also missing the screw that connects the shoulder support to the hand grip! Does anyone know where I can find one of these screws (I'm assuming that the thread is 3/8" and guess it's about 11mm long). I have looked everywhere for one of these screws, but amazingly no one can help.
The most worrying thing though is when I was cleaning the inside of the magazine, I was moving up and down the plastic film guide things and the next thing you know, I look down and there is a little, thin rectangle piece of metal (about the size of my baby finger nail with two threaded holes in it), is this part of the camera? I dont want to end up with a camera that's broken before I've even used it...I just want to shoot film! Does anyone know where it goes?
I know I'm asking a lot but I really do need help. Does anyone know where I can get my K-3 repaired/serviced...I live in Winchester but soon will be moving to Penzance, Cornwall UK.
I appreciate any help you can give me, thanks very much, Alex.
