HI If we have400 feet 16mm roll , can lab cut it into 200feet for using in AATON A MINIMA ? it must be loaded in spools for working with A MINIMA OR camera can work without spools??

common top & centric are two forms of ground glasses & gates in SUPER 35 cinematography. one (2/35 : 1) is in the top of the frame another is in the mdidle of it.

which one you want to work?. 2.35 centric or common top , in s35 with DI & some VFX ,selecting S35 1,85 is useful for aperture format mask? What is your experience?....you select DIN or ANSI ?

Hi Mitch This process is not , only replacing PL mount with 3 lenses turret of IIC. 3 parts of IIC must be machined. Hi Halll I have a new PL mount with its circle surface , whitch is ready for installation. Thank you for your cooperation. My problem is : * How much we must machined these parts of IIC? -Part of handgrip near mirror. -Part of the camera near the centre of the shutter. Sending a very macro photo of your IIC with PL mount can help us ........... THANKS

I want to install the PL mount for my II C , BUT I cannot sent the camera to P& S or ...... I want to know how much we must machining the parts of my IIC. My PL MOUNT with its surface is exactly fitted in with IIC. . do you have any suggestions, plans or photos for machining. thanks.....

Any experiences in Day For Night shots??

I read an article on AC magazine , behind the scenes of Kaminski work. He used golden reflectors in Day for Night shots. Some DOPs use for changing color temperatures , many use in interior lighting. Can post your experiences ?.. Thanks

LEICA have a very good variety of laser measuring pointer. I used it , but it is very harmful , if it is directed to the eye.

How can I change the 165 degrees shutter angles to 180 or 172.8 ......? There are any 180 or 172.8 shutter angles for buying... ? In visual products website , all IICs are 180 shutter angles ...how they change IIC s ? Thanks

Dear Nick Thank you for your good guidances I took a test with crystal sync motor ( 25 FPS , 50 HZ ) in 165 shutter angle , but I saw a very little flicker in it .

I want to work with IIC and magnetic HMI , but 165 shutter angle can not help me . Can we buy , change it and instal 180 shutter angle ? In Iran HZ is 50 , I must shooting in 180 shutter angle & 25 FPS or 172.8 & 24 FPS. Another problem is changing to PL mount " where can I buy it , can we change 3lens mount to single PL mount This instalation is only for experts ? .....& how much is it ? Which company produced it ? Hi In the 29th cairo international film festival ( 29 nov - 9 dec 2005 ), I had a film SO CLOSE SO FAR directed by Reza Mirkarimi in Iran . I won the prize of Artistic Contribution (best DOP) in this festival in Egypt. The film of MOTHER OF MINE directed by Klaus Haro from Finland got the prize of Golden Pyramid.
