Sharif Khiam Ahmed Eon

Passionate poet, photographer Eon is a freelance writer, journalist & cinematographer by his profession. This Bengal's youth is fascinated with multi-media journalism & film-making, whose official name is Sharif Khiam Ahmed. He was born in Khulna of Bangladesh and was brought up in Barisal and his present city is Dhaka. He started it as a hobby on his 11th birthday (1997). Eon got his first lesson of photography with the help of the camera he got from his father as a gift. On July, 2004 he started his profession as a reporter in a daily newspaper and it put him in the practice of photo journalism. He worked for some dailies, weeklies and online dailies as well as some news agencies till July, 2012. Then he started freelance journalism. Before that he got his first digital camera in 2005 which dragged him in the fondness of motion pictures. Because of this interest, he started practicing videography and started cinematography professionally in 2012 in a full swing. He has worked for numerous dramas, documentaries as well as for cinemas. Eon, a person indulged in cultivation of poetry from his very childhood, is an active blogger. He has been an editor of various literature magazines.
