Thanks David, So this is not what I am looking for. Was looking for a wider lens, can't seem to find an optex 5.5 or a Century 6mm and can't afford a new ultraprime 6mm or Cooke 6mm, so was wondering...

Hi, I can't get my hands on one to try it, but was wondering if I buy an 8R ultraprime Zeiss lens and use it on my S16 SR3 camera, how wide would it be, say compared to the 5.5 Optex which I have. Would it behave like an 8mm lens or would it convert into a 4mm on the 16?

Can some one please tell me where could I buy a Sound Barney for my SR3 Camera (with IVS). Starting to shoot a full lenght feature on the camera in a few days and the 'Sound Man' insists on one. Thanks Rickii

Thanks for the info Mitch. Any preferences or information between the 11-138 or the 11-165 Cannon, which is a newer model or better etc., as I see that both seem to be available for between 6,500 to 10,000 dollars in the market. Rickii

Hi, I own an SR3 camera with a Zeiss Vario Sonnar 11-110 original Super 16 lens. Have just purchased another SR3 Camera and want to buy a different lens from the above. Could some one advice me on which is a good Zoom to buy. I would prefer a longer lens as I am also in the precess of buying a set of MKIII Primes from 9.5 to 50mm, so would tend to use the zoom more for longer shots. Has anyone used the new Canon 10.5 -180 zoom? Unfortunately can't find any in the 'used' market. Alternately any opinion on the 11 - 165 Cannon as there are quite a few of those available.
