  2. https://www.ebay.com/itm/285268169744 Click link for pics. Godox VL-300, can be used with V-mount batteries instead of A/C power. Comes with everything you see in pictures. Hard case is the OEM Godox specific to this light and the barn doors are Godox brand for mounting on the reflector. Excellent Condition, only used for studio and few event/art shoots.
  3. https://www.ebay.com/itm/285264762740 https://www.clubglove.com/viewproducts/last-bag-xl-pro-tour/ Click eBay link for pictures. I believe this is now referred to as the "last bag XL pro tour" on the clubglove website, link provided. Excellent condition. Purchased this because I wanted something large enough to accommodate multiple light stands/C-stands and other crap, that also has wheels and doesn't cost a small fortune. This is about the largest and sturdiest golf-club travel bag you can buy, and at this price it's well worth it vs overpriced "lighting bags". Never used on a golf course or to carry actual clubs, only used for light stands, boom poles, cameras and other film equipment. Also never used on a plane, just car/train travel. Folds in half for easy storage. $175 Free shipping or local pickup.
  4. https://www.ebay.com/itm/285248753561 Click eBay link for pictures. Vintage Strand "Fresnelight." Originally meant to hang above a stage or studio. Can be used with 500-1kw bulbs, currently equipped with a new 1kw bulb. Was rewired with an Edison plug but the cable is only ~2 feet. Also comes with a free Impact baby pin adapter which is attached to the yoke so it can be used on a stand. Also comes with aftermarket barn doors. $125 Local pickup only.
  5. https://www.ebay.com/itm/285248734214 Click eBay link for pictures. Mole Baby Solarspot type 2831. Can be used with 500, 750 or 1kw bulbs, currently equipped with a new 1kw bulb. Cosmetically it shows it's age but everything's in usable condition. Comes with only what is shown in pictures, I believe the cable is 8 or 10ft. Yoke is for a baby pin. $150 Local pickup only, cash, google pay, venmo accepted.
  6. https://www.ebay.com/itm/285248715929 Click link for pictures. Very good condition, missing paint, comes with a junior pin yoke, and a new 1k bulb. I believe the lens is 20 degrees but I'm not 100% sure, you can focus the lens for a softer/wider beam and it has the "barn doors" for cutting the light. Also has filter slot. The original plug was a stage plug on a very short cable, so I cut and rewired the cable to an Edison plug so I could use it on light stands. $200 Local pickup only, cash, google pay, venmo accepted.
  7. https://www.ebay.com/itm/285264787860 This listing is for a Godox SL-200 ii bundle. Pictures on eBay. The kit includes: 2 Godox SL-200 II LED COB lights. 2 Nanlite FL-206 Bowens mount fresnel lenses. 2 Four-Way Barn doors for the Nanlite fresnels. 2 Godox Bowens mount snoots. 2 Power cables 2 Remote controles 2 Godox Bowens mount reflectors Impact 5C Hard case/bag with dividers. Original manuals/paperwork. $700, local pickup only. Cash, google pay, venmo, etc. accepted. Everything included in this kit fits in the case. I can also include the original SL-200 boxes if asked.
  8. I'm in the process of liquidating a small studio that had been used for student, independent, event, commercial and local shoots, for reasons that I'm moving on to other pursuits in life and could use the $$. In the coming days/weeks I will be posting here used modern digital cameras/LED lights, mostly in excellent condition and seen only light use. I also have a small selection of vintage equipment I will be listing, including 16mm, 8mm cameras, vintage tripods and mole-richardson lights. Some tested and working, some not, but all which I have enjoyed as a hobby camera collector. Larger items will be local pickup only, but smaller items can be shipped. I'm going to try to price everything fairly, but I'm open to negotiate if you want to purchase more than 1 item, etc. I'm posting everything to Ebay for the sake of pictures, but all local transactions will be conducted with cash, venmo, etc. FYI, I'll be updating this listing every day for a few months, so if you're interested in something now feel free to ask what else I have. All electronics are wired/come with American plugs 120v 1. Mole-Richardson MoleQuartz 1k "Molelipso" Type 8011 Elipsoidal/Leiko light: $200 https://www.ebay.com/itm/285248715929 2. Mole Richardson 1kw Baby-Baby Solarspot Type 231: $150 https://www.ebay.com/itm/285248734214 3. Strand 1kw "Fresnelight" adapted to mount on a light stand: $125 https://www.ebay.com/itm/285248753561
  9. Looking for someone who can machine a custom mount to attach to an existing camera body and permanently convert it to PL mount, thanks.
  10. Hello, anyone know if or what individual/company can still machine a custom lens mount adapter to permanently attach to a camera body? Thanks
  11. True, thank you. I think I'll stick with the internal 4k, I was disappointed after getting one that the AXS cards still cost so much, because in 2017 when I bought my F3 the SxS cards had dropped in price to ~$200, now even less.
  12. Hello all, Deciding whether to purchase the internal 4k upgrade for my F5 or the AXS-R5 recorder. I don't have the budget to buy AXS cards, so was curious if SXS cards can be substituted if the write speed is enough, as online it says they're the same size? Can anyone confirm the size is the same?
  13. I would say not, even though it's a nice image, it still only records 1080p MPEG-2 and 60fps at 720p even with the upgrade. It's not suddenly going to equal something that can shoot 4k 422 or Raw at more framerates. I could be wrong, but I also remember this being the case, that you could buy a new F3L for the same price or send in your F3 to get the upgrade for free.
  14. I had a similar experience, purchasing mine used years ago it was listed as a "F3L" and came with the S-Log upgrade so I assumed "L" stood for "Log." Also, this is an excerpt from the official B&H listing for "Sony PMW-F3L" which confirms it: "More demanding applications can utilize the camera's dual-link HD-SDI ports to output to an external recorder in 10-bit 4:2:2 or 10-bit RGB 4:4:4...The combination of four HyperGamma settings with S-Log and LUT capability provide RAW-like flexibility to the image data, allowing for increased picture control and dynamic range." The "PMW-F3K" was the one that came with 3 lenses as "K" likely stands for "Kit" Note, it only outputs S-Log 444 over SDI according my use and to every source I've read, I don't see how someone is claiming they can mod it to record that internally, it doesn't even do 422 internally, and if it was possible it should be all over the internet by now like Magic Lantern.
  15. I just purchased a Sirui p-324sr carbon fiber because from experience I've found a monopod is a lot better than a tripod for wedding videography. My intended fluid head/camera combo weighs 12lbs altogether, so at a rating of 22lbs, I thought this monopod would work. I have been testing it before taking it on a job, and with 5 x 5lb weight plates centered on top, it doesn't budge, doesn't bend, nothing. However, with actual 12lb of camera, lens and fluid head it does start to flex noticeably, though is still stable on the floor. To test the limit, I tried my Arri 16BL with a zoom lens ~19lbs and unsurprisingly it flexes even more. It's difficult to find a center balance point, as it seems to bend forward or back no matter where I position the camera. Though I was surprised with the Arri it still did not tip until it was at max height, thanks to the wide feet. The flex had no permanent effect on the monopod. I'm not knocking this monopod, it seems like good quality otherwise, and I realize 75% of the time I'm probably not using it with a zoom/telephoto lens, but considering it does flex with 12lb payload that I'm going to be using on jobs, am I better off getting something rated for 30 or 40lbs, or is weight rating meaningless and it will flex no matter what because monopods aren't really meant for camcorders/cinema cameras?
  16. Have you tried the CCD camera yet and does it have any buttons on it? If not, the 12-pin connector could be meant for a control to open a menu and change zoom, focus, gain, etc. Especially if it's a color CCD, the color cameras usually have extra menu options. That's just a guess based on my Arriflex BL video door though, your best bet would be researching the model of the camera, contacting Jurgen directly or a place that still repairs/rents these cameras, like Visual Products: http://www.visualproducts.com/storeProductDetail02.asp?productID=168&Cat=2&Cat2=13#bigPic At this link they are selling an Arri 2C with the Jurgen video door, they probably know what the connector is for. Hope that helps.
  17. Thank you for all the suggestions. The VCT plate recommendation is definitely helpful. I didn't know these existed, but I've always preferred drop-in plates like the Manfrotto hex plate to sliding plates. The Ronford and Baker also looks awesome, I will keep a lookout for one of those if I end up needing 1. I was also checking out some ball heads like a Sirui K-40X, which is rated for 77lbs?? I don't know what 77lb camera/lens is small enough to stick on a ball head, but I did ask the manufacturer and basically got no response. I resigned to the idea of another fluid head and found a "Daiwa ENG 30" with 100mm tripod on eBay for $250. It seemed like a Japanese Vinten copy from the pictures. It's an old model, but supposed to be rated for ~45lbs, which makes sense; I have ~20lbs of camera on with the counterbalance set fairly low and it stays in whatever spot I put it, perfect! Now if I can help whoever finds a Daiwa fluid head online for cheap, buy it. It very much feels like using an old model Vinten. My next step I think is getting a VCT plate for it.
  18. I'm looking for a tripod head for a B-camera weighing 18lbs (20+ with rails, matte box, monitor). I already have a good fluid head I use for the A cam, but I'm not planning to do camera moves with the B-cam, I'm just looking for something I can stick the camera on and is strong enough to take its weight. I've been looking into pan-tilt heads like a manfrotto 229 or Gitzo G1570M because they can handle the weight. Anyone have suggestion?
  19. The Crystal Sync Kinor and all lenses are still available. I pulled them off eBay because I'm actually using them for a job. I also took the liberty to run more thorough film tests for others who were interested. I don't have an accurate time-table of when it's going to go back up for sale, but when it does, I'll have the footage to show its strengths and weaknesses. There's not enough Kinor footage currently on YouTube to do a really good comparison.
  20. Does anyone have the schematic/know how to remove the F3 top handle completely? I know it could be removed for the 3ality armor, I just want to replace it with a more useful top handle. I removed 2 screws from the front part and it seemed to be removable, but I can't figure out what to unscrew to get the back part off.
  21. UPDATE 12/15: Tested the crystal sync camera with the 12v adapter and it runs smooth and quiet in all speeds (the running light also turns on). However in the effort of full disclosure, I only tested it for a short period of time, and haven't performed any other tests for registration, steadiness, etc. I have shot film through this camera on professional jobs (also with the lenses I am selling), and it is quiet enough for sync sound outdoors or in a decent size room, but I haven't used it in 4 years.
  22. I'm not sure if this is the right forum to post this in, but I'm trying to find a bag/case for an O'Connor suitable for airline travel. The problem is it's 57" closed with the head attached and the longest dedicated tripod bags I can find will only fit the legs. So far I looked at microphone stand bags, but I can't find one where I can attach a shoulder strap. I also looked at golf and snowboard travel bags, and they seem like decent options if I wanted to take the head off and use it for more gear than just the tripod (the legs themselves are 46" one stage). But the best I have come up with so far is a telescoping abs case for fishing rods that SHOULD work, if it's not a little too snug. Ideally I'm looking for something the same diameter as the tripod and not another big a** pelican case. If any experienced traveler has tips/suggestions, or experience with unusual packing methods, I would appreciate the help, thanks.
  23. Hello, I have an O'Connor and am looking for a good tripod bag/case for travel that will fit it. Normally I just have a strap on it and throw it in my trunk, but I need something suited for airline travel. The problem is that the closed length with the head attached is roughly 57", and I've only been able to find 1 thing that might work, which is a telescoping abs case for fishing rods. If I take the head off there are a lot more options, but I was just curious if anyone has something that will fit this they are looking to sell.
  24. Looking to sell two Kinor 16cx-2m 16mm cameras and lenses. One camera has a Tobin crystal sync motor upgrade and I've shot film with it in the past. I haven't used it in a while so I bought a new power brick to test it with (just waiting for it to arrive) so I have to say untested atm, comes with a 400' magazine. The other is just a standard 16cx-2m that's perfect for upgrades/mods. Both are in good cosmetic condition. I also have 3 Lomo Kinor-mount lenses for sale. These are all in excellent condition and can be used with the Kinors or adapted to other 16mm or MFT cameras for nice results. Everything is listed on eBay, but I would be happy to sell direct on the forum to avoid taxes/fees. Thanks for looking. 1.
