  1. Make sure your cameras light meter works, the battery might be dead. See if you can set the exposure manually.
  2. So what if you should have gotten more than you did, you were happy with the money at the time, that's all that matters. You will have more experience for your next shoot. Always look forward ... never look back. On your next job you may charge more ... or you might work for free.
  3. This is not your camera, but check page two item #25 the 'viewfinder shutter' your camera might have a switch such as this ... http://www.apecity.com/manuals/pdf/bell_and_howell_2146_xl.pdf
  4. Hi David, I've just gotten interested in Super 8 since the Kodak announcement at CES 2016. I picked up a Nikon R8 but I haven't used it yet. I am shooting my first roll of Super 8 (Tri-X) on a Nizo Pro. The filter on the Nikon R8 seems to be the same as on the Nikon R10. I would say .... leave the key out unless you are shooting film balanced for artificial light in artificial light. Obviously tests must be made to figure this filter out. I plan on only shooting Tri-X (B&W) reversal film and sticking to the 4x3 aspect ratio. I am still wondering about how I am going to develop and scan this film. ph
  5. Can you just slap a 50mm lens on your dslr and frame a 6 foot subject or perhaps a doorway etc. in your 16x9 frame, and note your distance?
  6. The Panasonic HPX170 and similar cameras should be more than adequate for shooting Porn.
  7. What do you think about the Reflecta Super 8 Scanner? Has anyone got any experience or knowledge of this Super 8 film scanner? It will scan 4 x 3 images at HD and store them as .avi files.
  8. What will the aspect ratio of the image made by this new camera be?
