    Just to update this thread: I head from Orwo NA and they are in the process of moving to a new distributor. No solid details but the plan is for things to be up and running again sometime in March.

    I emailed them a few days ago but nothing yet. Hopefully just a temporary shortage? Their website was such a nice, quick way to get small orders of b&w stock, so fingers crossed...

    Does anyone know what has happened to orwona.com? All of the b&w cinematography films on the website are 'currently unavailable' and 'please check back again at a later stage.' It's been like this since the beginning of the year. It's been a very nice resource being able to order stocks from their website and I hope this isn't the beginning of the end?

    Five or six years ago I bought a lens from Sergei. Communication was surprisingly good, I sent a money wire (nerve-racking), miraculously the lens arrived in great shape and the transaction couldn't have been better. But seeing the various nightmare stories in the forums, I think I got very lucky.
