I'm just doing research on these... The A1 is a fancified HC1. Of course it gives you more options, the main difference being that it allows for timecode, XLR inputs, and a couple other details. Looking at a video projector and would like to know if anyone know how to test the intensity of a bulb with a light meter. (Or where I can find this information) Projector is NEC LCD XGA MT1065 Thanks in advance Abel

How does a film this bad ever get made? The reflections definitely were glaring, even if you're not looking for them. And I agree the pacing was slow and could have used major subtractions. Plus there was nothing spectacular about the sound, so you can't justify the admission price for that. I really liked the classic opening title, but unfortunately it was all downhill from there.

A few months back I saw an almost-mint Rex5 body go for about $1200 on eBay. Usually $400-$1200 is what I have seen, depending on the exact model of Rex5 and its condition. Abel

I'm not sure if we're talking about the same items. I just want to check that I'm not getting ripped off. The head offered is a Sachtler 7+7 (or 7/7) probably about 15 years old. With 6' Gitzo legs, and the guy is asking for $1400. Does anyone know what this may be worth? I can't find this model in the Sachtler web site anymore...

I'm being offered a used Sachtler 7+7 tripod head, and since I've never bought something like this, I was wondering if anyone had any words of advice on how to test it out (and maybe how much I should offer for it). Thanks in advance for your tips... Abel

Jay, thanks for the tip. I'll give it a shot, but it seems odds, since the tapes run perfectly when played back in the camera; and tapes from other cameras run perfectly in the deck... But I'll give it a shot nonetheless. Thanks again. Abel
