  7. DI Colorist Walter Volpatto at FotoKem shares insight about his color work with The master. Walter is the go-to colorist for leading directors such as Quentin Tarantino and Christopher Nolan, and his credits include The Hateful Eight, Interstellar, San Andreas, CBGB, Chronicle and Hustle & Flow, to name a few. Read the article at Lowepost.com A short excerpt from the article: "The set of lenses and cameras, if I remember correctly was the one used for Kubrick's 2001 Space Odyssey. The idea behind it was to have the audience feel like they were looking at a 1960s movie, not a 2000s movie that looked like the 60s." Although Lowepost primarily is a site for colorist, cinematographers could learn a lot from reading the content. Best, Stig

  9. Hi Jay, Thank you for the feedback! We got 200 registrated members since yesterday, and I think that $4/mo for an unique insight into the high-end world of color grading is pretty fair. Each one of them provide unique insight into the colorists work and mindset, and different approaches and technical challenges are discussed. A few of them got before and after images, screen recordings from the color session and downloadble content. The colorists and the team have worked with this project in two years now and put a lot of time and effort into it. In addition, the fee covers access to a private chat room, discounts on grain and 72 color presets from CineGrain and other features. Hope to see you as a Lowepost member Jay! Best, Stig
