I don't understand......I hope I haven't broken any forum rules or anything I was simply excited to share a really great piece by Uli and the fact he shared it in a low footfall thread about tripods felt it would be lost from attention.....and that made me think there was other stuff by people in here that's been done I have missed...... -

How about we make this the thread where we post our FILM work and we can ask questions and stuff about what we see.....make it the 'go to' thread' on this forum for 'shot on film' we can actually watch......links to pieces and if 'big time' links to IMDB trailers etc etc....there is a LOT of great stuff I keep missing on threads I don't follow......

The Kodak Vision3 skin colours.....the auburn hair.....the light....that white dress holding detail.....things that could have blown out but didn't thanks to film......the way the caretaker ignores him haha so cool.....the sequence where she runs with the light seeping in through the trees a la Terrence Mallick Tree of Life...... please can you tell us all about it and take your time and give us all the info.....one day I hope to do something as fantastic as this please post about this on the film section perhaps and lots more people can see this???? -

I second that....you HAVE to appear Uli....forget about you remembering him when he was this age...its about HIM seeing you and his mother when he's 18 or whatever and you were filming him etc.....and then showing HIS kids and so on....family heirloom I keep going on about....... this encourages me too.....a lot in fact.......the piece Im doing on my father which you kindly saw some footage of... I had to stop due to Covid-19 lockdowns and have not resumed yet.....I have 1,200ft of Eastman Double X in the freezer for it still...........I guess I have to appear in it......I'm definitely getting his grandchildren (my sons and my sisters son and daughter) to appear.....I have this scene in my mind where I shoot on the new athletics track they are building in the south of Gibraltar that has Africa in the background across the Straits of Gibraltar and I shoot them racing on the 100m straight and they all silhouette against the sky.......that could look cool...... -
...the most stylish I remember seeing that were like wow to me were Chris Isaaks 'Wicked Game'.....George Michaels "Fastlove'.....Madonna's 'Cherish'.....then there was the oddball Peter Gabriel 'Sledgehammer'......then there was Robert Palmer's 'Addicted to Love' which was very memorable......and the modern-day masterpiece....Childish Gambino 'This is America'
