Watched JFK and The Doors again recently and was curious about some of the brown tones, notably in the first twenty minutes or so of JFK. It appears to be a light sepia/chocolate filter, but I have no idea and can't find any information about this. This same look shows up throughout The Doors too …
I'm wondering if this was achieved through filtration, processing, or some combination of techniques.
I don't have any great screencaps, unfortunately. The attached shot hopefully hints at what I'm talking about.
