  1. Hey Tim, how did you ended shooting the spec?
  2. thank you so much! @Adrian Sierkowski really good information overhere!
  3. Hey Guys! I’d like to know what your thoughts/experiences/preferences/approach about the topic below…. What’s your favorite way to light Day Interiors ? Bounced Lighting, what kind of fabrics? Ultrabounce? foam board? bluff bounce? Or Lightning through ( m40 through difusión and which? Do you use grid? How far ? ) Below I'm attaching two different frames I shot, 1. I did bounce n m40 + m18 on a foam board at 3.5 meters. 2. the other one I placed the sources 2 m40 through a 1 stop silk at 5-6 meters.
  4. Hey! I would start saying that the equivalence of 1 half stop it traduces as 5 IRE, the correspondent value about 1 Stop it will be 10 IRE, So isn't matter about Aperture, ISO settings etc..it's everything about ratios. False color are not a lut and doesn't affect your image at all, every false color brand is different, and every sensor sensitivity is different as well. This is what I would do. pick up a face value in your reference image, watch carefully where your IRE values are set, probably you will find the most of the faces are in between 55 - 65 IRE in your false color, ( sometimes that value match at 18 % grey card values, and... Lightmeters are calibrated to read the 18% grey card, and match with your waveform or histogram readings ) so let's assume a random T-stop value for example: T 4.0, that would be your starting point. Then set the face's light at T4.0, everything up or down of that value should be - 1 or + 1 stop or half and so on, think about it as a matter of ratios, 2:1, 3:1, etc.. identify where are set your other sources in your Flander's False Color Values as backlight or fill, and just give it more or less light matching it with your light meter readings. I'm attaching you an image with an example I did, using a reference from a movie frame. this is roughtly man, I would suggest take a look on Ansel Adam's System Zone.
  5. It should be interesting have pictures of the room, to realize what ideas should come to mind.
