  1. Daniil Nevsky has converted my 2C to 2perf with a PL mount. Excellent work. He is based in London at the Unitbag. The technician based in Munich Jon mentions is Georg Bogner and he does SR Super16mm conversions.
  2. It was scanned at Dgitall Orchard on Scannity at 5k, neg developed by Kodak London. The camera it was shot on is an Arriflex 2C converted to 2perf by Daniil Nevsky. I used one single lens, a Zeiss Standard Prime 24mm, between f4 and f8, depending on the weather which was mostly pretty awful.
  3. Love your footage Tyler, I've been watching all your films, they look terrific. But I do disagree with the S16 vs 2perf argument. I shoot both S16 and 2perf and 2perf gives you a much denser and crisper image. I haven't output any 2perf in 16:9 but when you grade your film in a window of the same height, there is a noticeable difference between 2perf and S16. The below was shot on 250D and 50D.
  4. I didn't mean to quote you in that post, how odd. Anyway, Kodak develops it. Creates more customers for their labs.
  5. Everyone is moaning about the price tag but I am sure that if the camera could be offered cheaper, it would be. Back in the Super 8 days, there were hundreds of thousands if not millions of potential buyers of cameras. That market doesn't exist anymore. It probably cost Kodak quite a bit to develop the camera. The target market appears to be professional cinematographers and prosumers and there aren't as many out there. And by the way, I remember looking at some of the top end Beaulieu cameras when I was a kid in the 70s and they cost a fortune too ?
  6. Turns out trades across the pond are not practicle. Any serious buyers looking for a Christmas present? Go on, you know you want it...
  7. I've had my LT on Steadicam many times but have never seen one on a Ronin 2. Not sure if it would fit ( the steadicam mag is 27cm tall). I dare say if someone had managed, there'd be a google-able photo of it somewhere. Let us know if you do and post a picture.
  8. FS Four Arricam 1000ft magazine cases. I bought them at auction because I thought they might be a fit for my 435 1k mags. Selling each for £170 or all four for £600. They can be picked up in London or I can ship them at buyer's expense.
  9. Revised price £10k (+VAT for UK buyer). Made a mistake when originally calculating price.
  10. I bought this beautiful lens from a well known Munich camera technician last year and it is in excellent condition. Perfect mechanics and pristine glass. No faults whatsoever. On the housing there are a few minute cosmetic marks, a phone number is engraved on the barrell from the previous owner who clearly pampered the lens. It has a metric focus ring. I have used it to shoot a few tests but want to expand my Standard Speed lens set, hence me selling this beauty. The lens is in London UK. Company invoice will be provided. £10k Sterling (ecl. VAT).
  11. I'm selling my Angenieux f3.2 25-250mm zoom from ca. 1963. Recently serviced, collimated and modified to PL mount by Optical Support in London. The Ebay listing is here: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/296000722490 Check out my other listings for Ultra Prime 16mm, 435 mags etc. I've got a lot of gear that I am just not using enough and will keep adding to my ebay account.
  12. Low budget filmmaker and happy owner of a recently purchased Sachtler Cine 30 (like new from the Procam auction). Great alternative to the O'Connor heads, it takes heavy payloads and delivers buttery smooth pans and tilts.
  13. Price reduced! £4200 (+VAT UK buyers only). International buyers no VAT.
  14. Arri Zeiss T1.9 16mm Ultra Prime in very good condition. Checked and projected by a lens tech last week, excellent glass and mechanics. Selling it to fund additional lenses for my Standard Prime set. £4700 (+VAT for UK buyers only) with company invoice. International buyers pay for shipping and their country’s import fees.
  15. For sale is a rare Arriflex 435 Advanced 3-PERF Super 35mm camera kit with a FEM-2 and an ARRI MB-20. I bought the camera a few years back from ARRI UK and it is in great condition. I was going to make use of its 150 fps speed capacity for a short film that featured a lot of slow-motion shots. But then the pandemic happened and the project died. It only ever came out of its case for a few slo-mo tests and upkeep. https://vimeo.com/356823500?share=copy I love this camera but am selling it because I’ve got three other 3perf and 2perf 35mm cameras. That and the fact that I just bought a whole bunch of gear at the Procam-Take 2 auction. It is time for this one to go back onto a film set, ideally with an active filmmaker or rental house. The camera is in London UK and a UK sale and pick up would be preferable. I can ship internationally, costs for shipping and custom fees to be covered by buyer. Price: £22500 (+VAT for UK buyers) with company invoice. Included in the package: ARRI 435ES Advanced (3-Perf) Camera Kit Case for ARRI 435 Camera 1 ARRI 435ESA 3-Perf Camera Body 1 ARRI Lens Cavity Cover (PL Port Cap) 1 ARRI 435ES Camera Aperature Cover 1 ARRI 435ES 12V On-Board Splitter (Fitted) 1 ARRI 435ES 24V On-Board Splitter (Fitted) 1 ARRI 435ES Dovetail Shoe (Side Mount) 1 ARRI 435ES Carrying Handle 1 ARRI Camera Handgrip (Run/Stop) 1 ARRI AVF-2 Anamorphic Viewfinder for 435ES Camera 1 ARRI 435ES Wide Angle Eyepiece 1 ARRI Rubber Eyecup for 435ES and Alexa Studio 1 ARRI BP-8 Bridge Plate for 19mm Rods 1 ARRI Bottom Dovetail 300mm / 12" (Balance Plate) 1 ARRI 440mm Ø 19mm Support Rods (pair) 1 ARRI KC-20 24v 2m/6.6ft Cable Power - Straight 3 ARRI 120m/400' Magazine for 435ES 3 ARRI 435ES 120m/400' Magazine Loop Protector 1 ARRI 300m/1000’ Magazine 1 ARRIflex RCU-1 Remote Control Unit 1 ARRI KC-39 1.5m / 5ft Cable for WRC-2/RCU 1 ARRI 435/235 ANSI 2.35 Ground Glass 1 ARRI FEM-2 Functional Expansion Module 1 ARRI MB-20 Mattebox kit Not included is the Hi-Hat and the Miller head. Please DM if you have any questions.
  16. Hi Aapo, maybe more people would buy your products if they knew about them. An Arri S crystal sync motor would interest me too and many of the other Arri S owners I'm sure, as long as they are aware that they exist.
  17. Which manual Mini Follow Focus works with Zeiss Standard Speeds on an Arriflex 235? It needs to reach far enough to the right to grip the focus ring and must be narrow enough not to touch the front aperture ring. None of mine fit apart from the big studio FF 3 which is too heavy for handheld operation.
  18. One is a later model as you can see by the serial number on the front insde ring. Both are 16mm Arri S mount.
