  2. @Aapo Lettinen Do you know a way to power the MST motor without it being too clunky ? I think it's the same story with the EBM. Here's what I saw when searching : Using the Bolex power handle - But I cannot find a recelled battery online. Using V-mount 12v regulated plate - But putting it on the back will prevent using the viewfinder and make it unusable Using a 12v "battery belt" like a Bescor - I don't really find that practical, for tripod shots ok maybe but this looks a bit oldschool for shooting handheld Maybe putting velcro on the door with a small battery ? Or something with the hot shoe mount...
  3. Hi, I would love to know how to power a MST motor in a way that you could use it easily handheld and on tripod without being too messy. If anyone can share his/her set up !
  4. Bumping this thread, I'm interested in trying a SD B4 lens with the Abakus on S16 cameras. I saw pretty good results on digital cameras and was wondering how it could perfom on film, especially the canon ones since their designs are similair to the S16 ones. Has anyone ever tried that ? I know that HD B4 (digiprimes & zooms) have been used on film with great results. I'm really wondering how close it would be to something like a optex converted lens !
  5. @Gerrit Fahr Did you managed to do the conversion ? Very interested in this as well.
  6. I have a 200ft Kodak film spool for A-minima for sale. Never went in a camera, the film on it was respooled on 100ft spools so it is like new. Price is 60€ + ship Located in France, would preferably ship within european union but elsewhere can be arranged.
  7. Oh ok, I didn't know that, thanks ! @Dom Jaeger You're my saviour thanks a lot !!
  8. I only went this far, but with no luck... Also can anyone tell me where the small springs goes ? (the one that's in L shape) having trouble putting it back, thanks
  9. Hi, I got a great pistol grip for flat base bolexes that seems to have gone stiff. I've used it a lot with no problems but now the trigger just won't come back when I press it. I've tried to put WD40 around it but with no luck. I started taking it apart but I don't really know what to look for. If anyone knows anything or maybe has a repair guide that would be wonderful !
  10. You probably didn't have a filter holder while shooting ? The same type of leak happenned to me beacause of that
  11. Hi, I'm preparing for a shot and was wondering if it was possible to have say 3 magasines of 400ft, each one loaded with different film speed and to change them when we need to, so that we can have a more flexible shot list ? Is this possible with a Arri SR3 or AATON XTR PROD , and to keep track of how much film left there is ? Or do I need to organize the shoot based on what type of film I have on the first magasine and so on ? Thank you
