the 13mm, 25mm & the 50mm have an image circle of 16mm. So they should illuminate the S16 negative. That‘s what I did read but didn’t test it by myself.

Dear Joe, if it is possible for you please let me know about the technical specifications from your Nikkor Cine lenses. Close focus, frontdiameter, image circle & weight is good to know for me. I am collecting all specs from all professional cine lenses & specs of these Nikkor lenses are hard to find. Regards Rolf Rosendahl

Hi Simon, thanks for your inspiration but Limited Liability Company was not the magic name that I did expect for a lens manufacturer. In the end the third possibility is ... as I found out in the meantime ... LLC stands for London Lens Company & it’s a small collective of UK Dops and the Pan Tachar was made for them as a one-off design.

Does anybody know a company with the shortname LLC? The only rehoused Astro Lens for todays use that I’ve found in the internet was the 40mm Pan Tachar T2,0 with LLC engraved onto the housing.
