Hi everyone. Selling off a bunch of rarities from my collection. Here's a list, DM for pics and further info. -Lomo 65/70mm film format primes: 70OKC4-40-1 (40mm f3); OKC2-100-1 (100mm f2.8) ($5.5k takes both) glass in good shape overall, some cleaning marks but nothing of concern. -1959 NAC Anamorphic Primes (early Japanese anamorphic primes, predate Kowas! These use Canon rangefinder base glass, and a very advanced anamorphot design that has a 6 element block with a front quadruplet (4 element group - i would assume for high level of color and aberration correction). They are also astonishingly small/compact. These lenses need restoration to get back to working; Optitek has quoted ~$6k per lens to restore (polish and recoat), convert to PL mount, add gears, etc. 50mm f1.8 and 85mm f1.9; selling at $4k each. Currently Eyemo mount. -Canon Super16 10.6-180mm T2.7: needs nothing, top notch condition. the last generation, newest Super16 zoom...incredibly performance with a HUGE zoom range in a ridiculously tiny package. -CineMobile 40mm T1.1 BNCR mount - Very rare, interesting glass from ~1980s. Needs front element polish and recoat...rest of glass in excellent shape. Very unique lens that would make a cool addition to a K35 or zeiss superspeed set. Covers 16:9 FF with mild vignette. $3.5k...polish and recoat can be done for like $1500 iirc. PL mount conversion should be simple. Located East coast USA (virginia); can ship worldwide at buyer expense.

FS: Rare CineMobile 40mm T1.1 - BNCR mount

$4k -
Super rare. Made sometime in 80s or so. BNCR mount. I am guessing that this is a Zeiss Superspeed 50mm (Mk2 or Mk3) with a 0.8x wide angle adapter. Aperture blade count is a match (7) and rear element looks like a match too. Another possibility is Nikon 5cm F1.1, a cool lens in its own right. Glass is in great shape with the exception of the front surface which has significant cleaning marks. Would need P&S or someone similar to polish and recoat which runs i think like $1500 or so, and it'll be back in shape. Just covers FF 16:9 barely. Great for someone looking for a unique lens to expand a superspeed or k35 set. $4.5k takes it. Located east coast USA, can ship wherever.

As title says, selling ultra-rare set of Shiga-based anamorphics. Fresh out of full service at TLS. ArmaCine Orbital system for the set is nearly finished (allows use of matte box). Quite compact, gorgeous unparalleled flares, very usable wide open. Hard to ask for more in a vintage anamorphic set. Comes with a bare 40mm Nipponscope cylindrical block in case buyer wants to build an additional lens to expand the set. $140k. DM me.

Price drop. $7500 -
****JUST WANT TO MAKE CLEAR THAT THIS IS *NOT* AN ANAMORPHIC LENS. It is spherical. Yeah, I know, I thought ToddAO35 was an anamorphic format, but it seems they made some other lenses with the label.**** Selling a very unique oddity. Never seen another. Wasnt even aware such a thing existed...I had always assumed ToddAO35 meant anamorphic, but it seems ToddAO also built a handful of spherical lenses under the label. Vintage lenses of this focal length and speed are pretty much non-existent; this would make a perfect addition to either a K35 set or maybe Zeiss Superspeed set. While labeled ToddAO-35, the lens has quite a large image circle...bigger even than 65mm film/Alexa65. Currently BNCR mount. Lens has been with Jacek @ Optitek for a while now, waiting to get converted to PL mount and a basic CLA...IIRC the focus ring was a bit stiff and in need of lube job. Iris functioned fine. Jacek hasn't started any work on it yet. Glass/coatings in solid shape. There may be some imperfections, blemishes, etc. like minor cleaning marks (obviously i don't have the lens to check and it's been a long time since i had it in my hands)...but nothing that will have effect on image. It looked quite good to my eye when I last had it. I got the kens about 1.5 years ago, along with a few K35s. It's been a mystery since then and I've been unable to find any solid information on it. Pretty cool curiosity and piece of history, and would be an interesting addition to any set of vintage high speed primes. Selling at $9k.

Selling the much-sought after Cooke 20-60mm Varopanchro...one of the only vintage compact zooms. Has a reputation for making beautiful images...great match with Speed Panchros or really any other set of vintage primes. Beautiful "Cooke Look"; gorgeous flares; basically no breathing; very compact; great zoom range that includes many of the most-used focal lengths. Great piece of glass to have on hand, especially for use with the new Alexa35, not to mention the upcoming RED 8k S35 V-Raptor "RHINO". Glass is in great shape, no issues to speak of other than a few very minor "cleaning marks" as can be expected with an older piece of glass. PL mount. Gears for focus, iris and zoom. Price is $22k. Out of town for a couple days but will get pictures up when I get home. Located east coast of USA (Virginia), can ship anywhere at buyer's expense. Prefer bank wire transfer for payment...i have plenty of people in the industry who will vouch for me, but if you arent comfortable with wire transfer, I can accept Paypal as well (again at buyer's expense for fees).

Hi everyone, selling an Arri Alura 18-80mm T2.6. Glass in great condition, no issues. Body has signs of use (small chips in the paint, etc.)...just the kind of stuff that accumulates in a working lens over the years. Cones with lens support and case. Price is $9k...a solid deal for one of these. Perfect range, all-in-one zoom. Located east coast of USA. Can ship wherever at buyer's cost.

Kowa made a 2x anamorphic designed for use on super 8 cameras; both an adapter-style intended to be attached in front of primes, and also an actual synchro-focus lens (13mm f1.9). adapter: Synchro lens: Here's the synchro-focus lens mounted on a Super8 Kowa Kallo: I owned the adapter-style for a time...easily the smallest 2x adapter in existence. Also quite a performer too, especially for such a tiny piece of glass. The synchro-lens is quite rare but they pop up from time to time in japan.

All the anamorphics
James Coleman Rogers replied to Phil Rhodes's topic in Lenses & Lens Accessories
Hey @Phil Rhodes... I know this is a few months old but wanted to let you know to add these to your list: Toyo Eiki Anamorphics: 32mm, 50mm, 100mm, 203mm. They formerly lived at Arri Rental UK for a time, and OnlyRental.dk in Denmark. Made in Japan I believe in the 70s or 80s, I think using Shiga anamorphic glass, with Cooke Speed Panchros as the spherical. This is the only set that was ever made, as far as I'm aware. I now own them; they're currently getting freshened up at TLS, after which they'll be coming to me here in the USA. -
Selling 135mm Master Anamorphic. Lens functions well, with smooth focus and aperture rings. Body has some expected signs of use with some marks/chips to the paint, but overall an nice shape. Glass is clean throughout, WITH ONE EXCEPTION: there is light fungus beginning to grow around the edge of the front element, so this would need cleaning. Offering quite a good deal on the lens to account for this. That's the only issue to speak of, and should be an easy thing to have cleaned up back to 100%. Rest of the elements inside are very clean/clear. Even with that one issue, it's still usable as is and puts out the lovely signature Master Anamorphic image...sharp, clean, and completely free of breathing...just gorgeous. The 135mm sells for about $50,000 USD brand new, more expensive than most of the other master anamorphics. Selling this one for only $19,000...shipping included within USA!! Great deal to account for the cost of getting the minor fungus on the edge of the front element cleaned. ABELCINE quoted me $4k for replacing the front element with new, so I have priced this low with that in mind...or, you can clean the current front element instead to save $. I'm located in Virginia, USA...close to Washington, DC. Happy to ship overseas at buyer's expense. Accept paypal but prefer bank wire. Selling to fund the cost of repairing/modifying a number of my vintage lenses.
