Hello! So Ive found some good deals on a local market for both Summicron R and Elmarit R lenses and I'm considering buying one! But as I started to research about the differences between the two I was sad to realize there are basically no comparisons out there on the internet. At least not from a cinema/videographer perspective! And so I need advice! Are they basically similar? I see people mix the two in lens sets. What I'm looking for is beautiful skin rendition, not an overly vintage look but something with character, have some creaminess to it, 3D pop. So just theregular stuff why people usually buy Leica. The two lens I'm considering picking up is the Elmarit R 35mm 2.8 or Summicron 50mm 2. Thank you in advance!

Hi everyone ! I have a few mamiya sekor C lenses that I would like to adapt to Canon EF full frame! Tho I'd really love to get closer to their native focal length! Because without focal reducing it, the widest lens in the set will be 35mm, also the famous 80mm 1.9 will not be 50mm focal length (that is when used on a medium format) but 80mm making it more of a nieche one... ? Is there a way to speed boost them to full frame EF? Price is also a consideration, I cant afford to spend a 1000$ for this... Also, I have bought a cheap EF-m645 adapter from ebay but it seems like the flange distance is off, I cant get infinity focus. Please tell me that with a good adapter I can get infinity!! Hi! What happens if you use a 3rd party SSD or CF in 2k mode on RED one? Does at least the 2k record work properly? Because for me that doesnt sound bad. I dont own the camera yet but I'm considering buying one. Adressing the topic, there is no moral issue with charging as much as you want as long as you provide true information on what the product actually is. For example if Justin Beaber spits on tissue that might sell for 1000 bucks but thats okay because its clear that its just a 0.01 dollar worth of tissue with that substance on it. People are made 100% clear of what it is, no false advertisement. But as we know RED is guilty of making false advertisement for why their accessories costs so much.

I Japan it is still slave work, I count find better words to represent it. I was mostly an actor so I was fine but the crew there worked from early morning to night every day. My friend and former roomate who is working in the music video industry (used to work for a TV) has best scenario a day off in a week but often times its 1 day off in a MONTH. He has to sleep in his car at least every second day, because there is simply no time to go home. Even if he gets home he would usually only have time to sleep yet he sleeps between 2 to 6 hours on average.
