  1. Fair enough, but the original post was talking about saving money shooting 720P - you'd need to bung a 35mm lens on it which aint cheap. ANyway I cant beleive I'm getting sucked into this! It takes digital still camera manufacturers about 12 months to go from preview models to production models. This camera has got to be 3-4 years away!!??
  2. No 35m DOF when shooting 1080 or 720. It uses a small section of the sensor, not distributed pixels over the large sensor.
  3. You'll be shooting at f11 - F16 in direct sunlight F5.6 - f8 indirect or overcast day. Leave your fill light at home and take extra reflectors, that would be my suggestion (take silverboard and white reflectors). Direct sunlight - especially afternoon light can be quite warm from a silver refelctor getho
  4. Just picked up the above lens in a scrap-heap shop attached to an ancient ikegami video camera. (for $20 AUD whoopee!). Cant see any trace of mildue, the front element has a very fine scratch. Its C mount so I attached it to my bolex and from what I can tell it looks OK. Its obviously been well used. Any idea what its worth? GEtho
