  1. @Tyler Purcell@David Mullen ASCThank you, I just wanted to know if you know what is the native ISO of the RED V-Raptor. I can't seem to find it anywhere.
  2. Hello to everyone, in the end @Dom Jaeger was right, we'll be shooting 4K 4:3 with no issues. We just noticed that at base ISO 2500 and setting the EI to 1250-1600 we see quite a bit of noise... Is it normal? We did the APR but when we saw the clips with a low light set-up the noise was very noticeable. What settings do you reccommend to shoot in low light environments with the Sony Venice?
  3. Thank you so much for your answer. You're right, it was my mistake, I haven't studied thoroughly the lenses specs nor the sensor specs. I didn't know they were S35. Thank you for clarifying that and for explaining this to me. Silly of me, I forgot some years ago I produced a short film with the Alexa Mini and the Atlas Orion and there sure was vignetting. I'll prepare and we'll do some tests and let you know how it goes. Thank you again.
  4. Hello guys, I have a similar yet simpler problem: I'm a 1st AC, prepping a movie with a DP in Rome. He wants to shoot with the Atlas Orion Anamorphic lenses on a Sony Venice camera. What would be the difference between shooting in 4K and 6K anamorphic? Is there a crop factor when using those lenses in 4K on the Venice? Thank you in advance!
  5. Hello, everybody, I have a question about dual ISO on FX6: If you ever shot with it, how did you find its performance working in lowlight with base ISO 12800? Did the final shot match your expectations regarding noise? I know the sensor of the FX6 and FX3 is the same as the one on the A7III, but I just wanted to know how does it perform in Low Light... Thank you.
  6. Hello to everyone, In some weeks we're going to shoot a commercial with Alexa Mini and Arri/Zeiss Master Anamorphic Lenses. I wanted to know: if one can shoot in 2.39:1 2K Ana., or you need to shoot in 4:3 2.8K Open Gate Licenced feature? If both options are available, what are the main differences between the two (besides resolution and format)? Thank you
