  1. You can also watch the video (and all of their other ones) on the White Stripes web site : www.whitestripes.com .
  2. PDL was anamorphic, I'm not sure how the AC magazine got it wrong. The behind-the-scenes article on the Fuji website mentions Primo anamorphics. The scopitones were the colorful interludes between scenes created by artist Jeremy Blake.
  3. Keep in mind that all of their titles are licenced from studios/production companies. I'm also sure that some of their special features are from other sources and they probably have to pay for the rights to include that stuff on the dvds.
  4. There is a short interview with Savides at the Villiage Voice web site in the film section.
  5. I don't have a region free player, but I have heard o.k. things about the various Cyberhome players. In Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Best Buy has a Cyberhome player for around $40. I think the PAL to NTSC conversion might not be the best but I'm not sure about newer players. I think you could find better info on the Home Theatre Forum or someplace like that.
  6. I don't think there is a US dvd. The only North American dvd is a Canadian one which I hear is Pan and Scan and has terrible picture quality. Not sure about the German one but you can get a region free player pretty cheap. My understanding is that Lynch and Co. had finished work on the dvd a while ago but USA Films/Universal is still sitting on it.
  7. Does anyone know a good place to find manuals for 16mm cameras? I have a Pathe Professional Reflex 16 AT BTL (or something like that) and am trying to find some instructions. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
