  1. I just repaired one a few days ago, they don't usually have the cables running out of the front. I would think that someone did some modifications for what ever reason.
  2. Kodak calls it the film shop which does sell short ends You can also try Motion Picture Film Stock. I only have their email unfortunately, but they have always been very helpful. They were formerly call Reel Good. Motionpicturefilmstock@gmail.com
  3. I don't know for sure, but from what I've read Tronchet scope sounds like a simple anamorphic adapter like the Schneider ISCORAMA 56. If you are looking for anamorphics both Hawk and Panavision have Super 16mm anamorphic options. I know people have been using the Laowa Nanomorphics, especially 27mm, on S16mm a bunch as well. They all have a squeeze factor of around 1.33-1.5. I hope this was of some help.
  4. I know that is what Mark is saying, but Thaïs is the one who is in charge of the Hollywood Film Shop. The VP of Kodak told me this directly. They definitely sell new stock, short ends, and re-cans. I can also say definitively that it is much better to deal with Thaïs than Mark when you are order film because it seems like she handles all the logistics. Last 2 times I order 16 I ended up coordinating the pick ups with her.

    Bolex Pro

Hi, did you ever get your batteries recelled? I just inherited a Bolex Pro 100 and have been working on making it functional again. I was able to recell the batteries pretty easily. Batteries Plus had the replacements on the shelf. You just need to resolder the copper leads back into position to make sure the ECU can connect properly. If anyone has an parts for the Bolex Pro please let me know. Mine is in overall good condition, but I am not able to get the motor to turn at full speed and I suspect there is something wrong with the internal circuit board. I appreciate all the information on this thread. It’s been super helpful.
