I have very basic gear (had better hardware but life happened and had to get rid of all) but found out you don't really need expensive stuff! A Gopro 7 Black that I got for under $120, and an old Sony hx9v. A run & gun camera that, at the time, was highly recommended by EOSHD, and nowadays totally forgotten by most. Still a gem even with its limitations. Produces beautiful footage that at times resembles film - for only $50! I only need a quality mic. Video was edited on an open source editor called "shotcut."
