  4. how do you do that? im using hr digtal crt monitors ', should i press 16:9 mode on the monitor on then crop it (use gaffer tape) by that referance? then turn it back to 4:3 ? lots of thanks roy

Hello, I was wondering how to crop my video sourse while shooting. im involve with a project in whuch i have to crop down pc camera and internt camera to match 16:9 beta digital. will pressing down the 16:9 button on my crt hr monitor will do ?? i would like to hear your opininon. i would nead to scale it? should i gaffer the monitor ? how? urgent thanks roy

  8. hi mike if you are looking for some kind of a "minilite" which mounted on the comera' small and portable' check out a "mini ark" its a small day light minilighat which is pretty good for your aims'. i you are looking for somthing softer you can try 2 kinos mini flow which can be attached to yourcamera ( great for closeups)and they come in a varity of light temp. roy

  11. im about to shot a short movie using sonys dsr 450' i have a lot of expriance with it but i want to open a discosuon about it. what kind of camera setting do you recomend to achive a filmlike look using it. i want it to look as much bluewesh look in day scenes. thanx roy

  14. hi' im about to film a short movie next week which basicaly takes place in one aprtmant. the most dramtic scene is a guy standing in front of a canvas painting' behind him is a big window the camra is in motion rowards him from his back in slow dolly movment until it discovers whats on the canas. my q is' i would like to light up the room using the background window which will poor the light in on the guy', i have some quats 800 and one 2000 which i can wrap with blue gel, the thing is that i want to achive some kind of a blue fill or beem that will fall on the person' any sugastions? thanx roy
