Hi,
I recently got a Bolex H15 Supreme, and a Bolex H16 Rex4, appropriate lenses for both, and several rolls of film. I am wondering if anyone in the Melbourne area would be willing to meet up for an hour or so to help me get the best out of these cameras - for example, the Kodak stock I get says that it needs to be loaded in complete darkness, but I have read that it can be done in subdued light. Also, I theoretically understand how to work out the exposure for both, but am a little uncertain. I have come from large format (4x5) photography, so have gear for that kind of set up - e.g. a pentax digital spot meter etc.
I am wanting to put a roll through both - shot half, then wind back, and put in the other - not sure if this is a good or bad approach. So, its really just trying to get a solid workflow down that would get the best out of both cameras.
Anyway, would be happy to pay with lunch, or a bottle of something etc. to compensate for time:)
Thanks!
Bruce
