Hello I just got back some super16 footage from the lab and the scan from one roll is showing scratches on the right side. I was very surprised by this, since we were using a magazine that caused no problems in previous footage on the same project. I can't think of anything out of the ordinary that might have happened during the shooting this day to cause such a big damage. We shot with an Arri SR3 that was well maintained and maybe no weird noises. I'm already double checking with the lab if this is really in the negative or if there's any chance that it's due to a malfunction during the scan but would love to get another opinion. Attached some stills where the scratches are visible. Thanks in advance for your thoughts!

hey yall I am curious about some of the the features of the SRH3. Does it have backpan compensation? also the roll axis specs say 90+-. is it 90 degrees of roll in both directions or 90 degrees total? and is that 90 degrees of roll active no matter in which orientation it is mounted? anyone have experience with this head and can tell me about how well the stabilization works? also looks like only a little bit of clearance, so probably only stripped down bodies, rite? brett.

$400 OBO. This mount adapter lets you mount an older Arri Standard mount or Arri Bayonet mount lens on a PL mount camera. This is the much more complex type with two spring-loaded push buttons for release, and is compatible with lenses like old Cooke Speed Panchros in Arri Standard mount. Those lenses need the holding tab that this adapter has to let you focus. Very easy to pop lenses in and out by just pressing two the side buttons. Les Bosher was known for making these, although I'm not sure who made this one. I bought this one from Visual Products about 9 years ago. Duclos sells something similar new for $700: https://www.ducloslenses.com/products/arri-standard-pl-adapter Note, this works fine on most film cameras. I used it on my Arri 3C before I sold that last year. It may not be compatible with all PL mount digital cameras like the Alexa - the protruding back can collide with interior baffles. I recently bought an Arri 16S and it arrived earlier today. The camera seems to be fine (as far as I can tell) except for the on/off switch. The on switch presses down and clicks into place, however when I press the 'off' switch, the on switch doesn't spring back up. It works only if I hold down the 'off' switch and manually pull the on switch back into place. (Please let me know if I'm not being clear enough) Unfortunately I don't have a motor for the camera yet, so I can't test how it works with power. So does anyone know what the problem is? Does it need some oil for the 'on' switch/pin?
