  1. I have an F3. Wondering if the new Metabones T CINE FZ to EF adapter works on the F3? Not just in theory...but has anyone tried & tested it? Is the FZ mount and camera connectivity the same on F3 as F5/55?
  2. Must have the full CBK-RGB01 444 & slog upgrade (not just the slog). Price has to be reasonable, and condition at least 'very good' with no known faults. Prefer privately owned, not ex rental. I'm based in Melbourne, Australia, and will of course pay for shipping. Can pay via PAYPAL. Message me if interested. Matt
  3. Has anyone checked these out? http://www.ultimateexposureguides.com/ I'm a relative newcomer to the Sony F3 and I am wondering if some of this material could be of use to me. Maybe the FS5 would share enough in common with the F3 to make it worthwhile for me to get the FS5 Guide? I do plan on hiring the FS7 so that too.
  4. I am selling my mint condition Optitek ProLock Mark II. I used it about a dozen times on a F5 with various Canon EF lenses. This is a great option for using more the affordable Canon DSLR lenses on the F3/F5/F55. The KEY feature of the Mark II is that it is powered by the mount so so power cable is required. New was $1800, asking $1400. Make an offer! Pictures emailed upon request The Prolock EF has electrical contacts to allow powered control over the iris in 1/3 stop increments via keys on the mount. The mount adapter also provides power to IS stabilization and internal focus servos. When used with the Optitek Optitron Lens Controller, precision repeatable remote focus control is also available. The Optitek Prolock EF draws its power directly from the camera mount, so no additional cable is required. The Optitek Prolock EF also features a PL-style clamping lock ring on the Canon EF mount, assuring that the lens will not shift in the lens mount.
  5. Hi, I'll be shooting on a sony F3, recording 444 S-Log on a Pix240, and at the same time recording a REC709 "proxy" on SxS cards, for editing. I wanted to know how to make sure that the externally recorded footage will properly conform with the proxys. Obviously the timecode will match, but is there a way to have also the filename and Reel name match ? Thanks ++ G.C.
  6. Hey I was wondering since the weird Flange distance on the 18mm Prime from the Red lens kit ( Not compatible with the Alexa or c300) Has anyone tried this lens on the Sony F3.
