Looking for more info on this rehoused 14mm f2.8L. Just got a great deal on ebay. There was little info on the post and the guy didn't get back to me. From the photos I thought it was PL, but it's wider and the seat is deeper. Any ideas on the source of the rehouse or the mount?

$400 OBO. This mount adapter lets you mount an older Arri Standard mount or Arri Bayonet mount lens on a PL mount camera. This is the much more complex type with two spring-loaded push buttons for release, and is compatible with lenses like old Cooke Speed Panchros in Arri Standard mount. Those lenses need the holding tab that this adapter has to let you focus. Very easy to pop lenses in and out by just pressing two the side buttons. Les Bosher was known for making these, although I'm not sure who made this one. I bought this one from Visual Products about 9 years ago. Duclos sells something similar new for $700: https://www.ducloslenses.com/products/arri-standard-pl-adapter Note, this works fine on most film cameras. I used it on my Arri 3C before I sold that last year. It may not be compatible with all PL mount digital cameras like the Alexa - the protruding back can collide with interior baffles. Hey Dudes...i cam across this awesome Schneider Optivaron, with an unusual mount. The thread is the same as M42 but it has a long barrel, so I am not sure what camera (possibly film camera) this lens made for. Its not a C mount, and the rear side of the lens diameter is equivalent to standard 35mm film camera lenses. I am trying to hook this up with a Panasonic AF m43 but so far, because of the M42 lens converter I have, makes this lens barrel way too close to the sensor...so everything is out of focus and range.. if you have any suggestion, i would really appreciate it Thanks guys!

We own a set of Schneider Xenon FF Prime lenses. Our lenses are PL mount but for an upcoming shoot we will need to use the lenses on a Canon DSLR. We purchased the mount conversion kit from Schneider to put an EF mount on but no instructions. It's seems straight forward enough but it would still be nice to hear if anyone has experience doing this. Biggest question is how many shims to use. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Ray

Is there such a thing as a lens mount adapter database? It would be swell if such a thing existed because I seem to spend a lot of time drudging through the web trying to find out if you can adapt some lens to some mount with an adapter.

... we own a Aaton A-Minima Serial NR: A213 unfortunately we don´t have the Handgrip and the Nikon Mount and we would like to use our Old 70ties Nikon Lenses with it :/ is there anybody out there who could sell us a used Wooden Handgrip & the Nikon Mount and maybe a Top Handle for the A-Minima at a reasonable price? thanx Arthur
