Selling some very clean front anamorphic optics for square front Lomos. I have various single and complete glass groups: 35mm Cylinder set - element 1, Element 2, Element 3+4 doublet nice glass in good shape ($4500 for complete Cylinder) ($2000 for front elements) 50/75mm Cylinder set - element 1+2 doublet, element 3+4 doublet ($4500 for complete Cylinder) ($2500 for front groups) All glass in good shape. Some slight markings to be expected but great replacements or completes for an anamorphic project. Also have some original lomo metal work from the front housing in poor condition available for $500 each. This is just front anamorphic glass, no spherical parts, great for replacements.

Hi everyone I've been rebuilding an early 50's vintage H16 which was completely frozen, and so far I've dissembled the camera, cleaned it, obtained new parts where needed, and have actually reassembled the workings. It runs! And yes, I have a repair manual which has been essential to this project. I realize there's much more to it like alignment and adjustment, but until the camera is film tested can it be determined if the rebuild was a success. And I do intend to use it once this is done. This camera will compliment my vintage H8 and REX1. The REX was professionally serviced. Anyway, thank you for staying with me, now if anyone has tips, advice, sources, parts, etc, please, anything would be appreciated. Right now, I'm looking for light seal materials. My supplier informed me sealing material for older cameras is no longer available, but didn't elaborate on substitute materials or methods. If anyone has information, how to, or advice, please and thank you! Also, are there special lubricants for the Bolex? If so, what type? Are they easily available? And what substitutes an be used? Well, thank you folks, I intend to get this camera running, and I have discovered that taking it apart was a challenge but was easier than I thought; and putting back together isn't that hard. The challenge is the adjust, sync and alignment. I sincerely thank each and everyone one of you who respond with anything, including stories and anecdotes about using these great cameras Cheers Gil in Washington DC USA

Hi all: I recently acquired the DeVry 16mm camera (which I'm told is less common than the 35mm version). It is missing the lens and the hand crank. Not sure which mount this camera has. I haven't been able to locate a crank for this camera. Any suggestions?

HI All - I have an old Beaulieu 5008s I bought used back about 1983. I used it a few times, but then it's sat in a closed case for the past 30 or so years. Battery's completely dead and won't charge. I've been looking around to see if anyone can recell the battery or if there's a DIY page that explains it, but haven't found anything so far, and the leads on this site are all fairly old. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks! Tim Walton

Hello all. I'm looking for advice on how to find replacement parts for a Bolex Rex 4. I recently bought an underutilized kit and have been cleaning it up and trying to get it running again. It's in fairly decent shape, but I discovered that the screw for adjusting the position of the lower loop former is missing. I know it'd be best to send the camera to a technician for a proper overhaul, but my budget is low and it would be expensive relative to the cost of the kit. It'd be a shame to end up not using it because of something so small. A side note to the contributors here: I've been a lurker on this forum for awhile and have learned a lot reading through old threads. Thanks for that - and for any input you may have on this topic.
