    VINTAGE ULTRASCOPE ANAMORPHIC LENS SET CLICK HERE FOR PICTURES Set of four vintage anamorphic lenses Ultrascope 40mm f2, 50mm f2, 85mm f2, 135mm f4 All lenses are in arriflex standard mount. The back spherical lenses are Zeiss on the 50-85-135, and Cooke speed panchro II on the 40mm. This set was completely cleaned, lubricated and checked for collimation in 2018 by Visual Products, copy of the report is available. As far glass conditions, some of the lenses do show some cleaning marks on the coating. The set is rare and a fantastic vintage set to say the least. I tested it, please check the screen shots done on my Red Dragon in 4k, using different F stops per each lens.     Hello, I'm in the pre-production of a feature film and would like some feedback on equipment. The film has many references of gay porn movies of the 70s and 80s, I believe that the majority filmed in 16mm, are films that I admire quite a lot for the vintage look and camera movement quite free, with camera in hand and zoom lenses. Wondering how to get this freedom of movement working with a Red Scarlet Dragon and a good zoom lens, could you tell me some lenses that are light? And how to work with them? Using only my hands could I get these results or would it be necessary to use some other equipment to control the zoom? Another issue, regarding the look, despite the references, I think the film would only approximate this vintage look, but not a complete copy, I believe it is important to think the image also about a contemporary look. Thinking about it, I got a lot of attention as the highlights and the flares behave in this movie Scorpion Rising, I'm in doubt as to how close to the result and how much post-production it would be if I wanted to have a similar look.     RED Digital Cinema® will present a Masterclass featuring Oscar®-winner Guillermo Navarro, ASC at the upcoming BSC Expo in London. Navarro will be discussing his approach to cinematography in the digital age during the seminar that will take place Saturday, February 2, at 16.00. BSC Expo 2019 runs Feb. 1-2 at the Battersea Evolution. Navarro won the Academy Award® for Best Cinematography on Pan’s Labyrinth. His impressive credits also include Desperado, From Dusk Till Dawn, Jackie Brown, Hellboy, Night at the Museum, and Pacific Rim, among many others. He has worked in Hollywood since 1993 and is a frequent collaborator with Guillermo del Toro and Robert Rodriguez. Born and raised in Mexico City, Navarro was a still photographer in his native country before segueing into shooting documentaries and commercials, and directing television. Most recently, he completed principal photography on The Voyage of Doctor Doolitle, slated for release in 2020, using the RED HELIUM 8K S35 sensor. Over at Stand 334, RED will showcase its latest sensor technology, including the MONSTRO® 8K VV and GEMINI® 5K S35. MONSTRO is an evolutionary step in large-format sensor technology with improvements in image quality including dynamic range and shadow detail. GEMINI leverages dual sensitivity modes to provide creators with greater flexibility using standard mode or low-light mode. RED will also demonstrate a real-time 8K workflow using a new REDCODE RAW SDK powered by the NVIDIA QUADRO RTX 6000 GPU. By offloading the compute-intensive decoding and debayering of REDCODE RAW footage onto a single NVIDIA GPU, real-time play back, edit and color-grade of RAW 8K footage is possible. Additionally, RED will display its newest accessories. The new RED® DSMC2 Touch 7.0” Ultra-Brite LCD Monitor is a robust, optically-bonded touchscreen with Gorilla® Glass that provides an intuitive way to navigate menus, adjust camera parameters, and review .R3D clips directly out of the camera. It offers a brighter, high-definition viewing experience for recording and viewing footage on DSMC2 camera systems, even in direct sunlight. The DSMC2 PRODUCTION MODULE mounts directly to the DSMC2 camera body and incorporates an industry standard V-Lock mount with integrated battery mount (DSMC2® Gold Mount will be available soon) and P-Tap for 12V accessories. The module delivers a comprehensive array of video, XLR audio, power, and communication connections, including support for 3-pin 24V accessories. It’s also available as a kit.

So I have a few lenses I would sell or trade - one is this - in my opinion really amazing S16 wide angle: I just don't use it often enough - so better off with someone who might need it regularly. Century Precision Optics 6mm T1.9 Series 2000 Super 16 Arri PL Mount Film Lens Super wide angle lens for Super 16 or cropped Sensors (like Red, F55, Blackmagic Pocket or S16 film etc). Very fast at T 1.9 with as little distortion as possible for a lens that wide. Has nearly 330 degrees focus throw and works like a charm. Arri PL mount, smooth focus and aperture gears. Glass is in excellent condition, no fungus, nothing visible inside the lens. Some sings of use on the mount and also on the outer body (as you see in the images). This is a professional and solid lens - excellent built quality and excellent visual performance. Should there be any questions, don't hesitate to ask.     Hi Everyone I am a DP from India. Often the cameras that come for shoot don't have properly calibrated monitors and viewfinders. Since there isnt always a DIT on set, different monitors have different look. Especially if the camera viewfinder doesn't seem right it's a frustrating experience. Is there a way I can calibrate the viewfinder and onboard camera monitor for the Alexa or Red cameras? I don't mind buying a device/tool to do the job. Can somebody pls suggest a solution. Whenever I set it to 120fps it automatically sets the shutter speed to 120. Is there anyway to change it? And why does it lock the shutter speed at 120? Allan

    Hi Guys, We are a production company based in Geneva, Switzerlan, and we've got a beautiful set of 6x Zeiss Standard Speed T2.1 to sell. Our set is immaculate and we've taken care of. We need to raise fund to buy a new set of lenses, that's why we sell it and we are very sad because we loved those glasses. Everything is perfect with them. The only thing to notice is that the 24mm is not hard PL but Arri B with an adapter. You can see on the pictures that the 40mm has a dust particle in the middle but it does not affect the image at all and it will be clean. Before the shipping to their new owner, the lenses will be CLA by Lahaziz of Lenziz Optics in Paris, a great technician who workes for Angénieux and Panavision.
