  1. Hello all. I'm a newbie here and this is my team's story: We love cars, we film cars... that's what we do... That's not just a showreel. That's how we live and breathe cars. That's why we traveled to half away across Europe, looking for thrilling automotive stories behind corporate projects or passionate individuals. Thousands of km, countless flights, more than a dozen European countries and piles of HD media fused to an action packed timeline . This is Manos, Kostas and Orfeas; we each created our own personal path that led us to the three opposite edges of a continent, but these paths are crossing every time we feel the need to tell a new story, to create a new project. This is our story combined, this is Kinisis.... Hope you like it!
  2. Hi all. I'm proud to present my new showreel 2015 as a cinematographer. It tooks me time to do it but it's worth the result. I wait for you feedbacks. https://vimeo.com/106486310
  3. Hey! I'm Marco TOMA Tomaselli, 25yo italian up and coming cinematographer now base in Los Angeles. I came here without having connections so I had to start from everybody worst enemy.....gigs from Craiglists. The type of project is still not what I'd like it to be and I need to improve myself. Here you have my reel and any constructive suggestions are gold for me: http://vimeo.com/114315647 Thanks a lot, Toma. 7. Hi, Been a reader for a long time but haven't been active on the site much, thought you all would have some good insights on my most recent reel. What you like, what could be done better. It's a mix of F65, Red, 16mm and one or two DSLR shots. Thanks guys, all the best! Ben http://fischinger.com/showreel-2014/
  8. Hello! I'm wondering what you folks think about this. My goal is to use it sort of as a teaser on my website, in order to get producers to click through to my portfolio where I have projects in their entirety. I'm wondering if this is effective? Or maybe it looks amateurish? Or maybe the older producers out there who aren't used to ingesting media in bite size bits might have a seizure watching this? What are your thoughts?? Thanks :)
  9. Here is my reel. I would love to hear your thoughts!
  10. Hello, I just put up my first cinematography reel. I would really like any thoughts, impressions, or critiques from some of the cinematography community... The work represented is from various narrative shorts over the last few years. Thanks very much!
  11. My name is Max Normandin, and I've ALWAYS wanted to become a filmmaker. The problem is, I suffer from panick attacks and a pretty severe case of social phobia. I don't get out of my house often, and I certainly don't surround myself with people. Which makes it pretty darn hard to make movies... This is the story of how I went ahead a shot a 25min short film all by myself, with no crew, using family members as actors. I don't know if this is unusual or not, but I think the quality of the final product, given the very limited ressources I had, might be uncommon.
  12. Hello fellow cinematographers and film makers! If I could borrow 3,750 frames at 24fps of your time to review my new reel on my website listed below. It would mean a great deal to me if you could offer some critique afterward. I'm in the middle of a huge push to take my work and career to greater quality and new opportunities. I would be happy to return the favor. Thank you and happy shooting! Alex www.alexfuerst.com

  15. Any advice on the structure of a reel? Is it best to lump footage from one project next to each other or sprinkle it throughout? I have heard little tips like start out with a shot of a beautiful girl to show you know how to make an actress look good, etc. Any other good rules of thumb? Thanks guys, Joshua Jones
