  1. In this review of the Kamerar QV-1 LCD Viewfinder, the reviewer comments on the strong magnet holding the finder to the mounting bracket and demonstrating it by holding the DSLR downwards on the loupe only - LINK. I wonder, is that magnet somehow affecting the LCD screen? Temporarily or maybe over time causing some damage? Didn't some users of s35 adapters for video cameras (remember those? :) ) attach magnet on screen or the viewfinder to un-flip the image? Best Igor

  3. Hello, I'm on the look out to buy an Arri AVF-2. Also willing to make a trade with my standard f-3 finder in addition to some cash. Let me know! Thanks, Chris
  4. Mine has seperated prisms, so if you have one around on a parts machine I'd love to hear your offer! Joe
  5. Hi guys, Simple question, but, I have an Alan Gordon MkV directors viewfinder, which has the markings for standard 35mm - but the new MkVb seems to have changed this to super 35mm. Is there actually any difference in FOV between the two? I shoot primarily super 35mm sized digital sensors - in which case the sensor size differs slightly from camera to camera anyway, but it would be good to know if this is something I need to be taking into account. Many thanks! Harrie
  6. Hey film community,. First off thanks for all the previous threds; they have proven extremly helpful. I got a question concerning the viewfinder for a Bolex Rex-5. I really want to attach an angle finder like this one here. I'm wondering if there was ever one made for the Bolex or if there is any kind of attchment mount for the rex-5 viewfinder to attach (through a converter?) the one I linked to. Any thoughts on getting something like this for my camera? best, carl
  7. Used optically correct ANAMORPHIC VIEWFINDER for mounting on Optical viewfinder cameras like KONVAS 35mm motion Picture camera. Starting price is only $90 UN-squeezes image from anamorphic lens. Focusable for image of 35mm frame size from approx.3"-6" from end of front element. Eyepiece glass and front end clean WITH NO scratches or marks. Removable locking collar for connection to Konvas cameras. Tested and works fine on Camera ITEM is being sold inexpensively as only guaranteed to work with KONVAS style russian type viewfinders 'as is' A new collar could possibly be moved, removed or adapted to match other optical eyepiece cameras such as ARRI BL or others. Cannot guarantee fit but discussion from others have indicated that end shaft diameter would fit many other optical viewfinder prism or mirror mounts. With right mount it might also work with electronic viewfinders. being sold on ebay here http://www.ebay.com/...984.m1555.l2649 for any more info send email to info at alamofilms dawt com
