  3. I've recently purchased my first S16 camera (Aaton XTR Prod) and I'm looking to make an investment in a zoom lens I can use for allround purposes and no-budget projects that I can still use on productions where we have the budget to rent e.g. Ultra16s, Super Speeds, S4s/SK4s - Hoping someone in here can give me some advice on the topic. I'm interested in a zoom that has the following properties: PL Mount Close focus of 0.75m or closer Has at least 12-30mm range Preferably ~T2.8 or faster Covers S16 fully For these requirements I've narrowed my options down to either: Angenieux HR 11.5-138 T2.3 Angenieux HR 7-81 T2.4 Cooke 10.4-52mm T2.8 (CVK) Cooke 10.8-60 T3* (CVK) Cooke 10-30 T1.6 (CVP) Cooke 9.5-53 T1.6 (CVT) Cooke 10.6-52 T1.65 (CVT) I didn't include the Canon Zooms as I don't feel like they give me the look I am going for. I also didn't include Zeiss Vario Sonnars in the list because their close focus is too far. But they may be workable with a diopter. I'm afraid of losing sharpness however. Any thoughts? Any other lenses that I might have missed in my research are much appreciated. Do you have any advice on these lenses. And which do you prefer?
  4. Hi, It's kind of a long story… but this is the second copy of this wonderful lens that I own and now need to sell. I really think it has a magic look and that it's also great since it's so compact. Made for Super16 cameras. In PL mount. The lens is in good condition and the mechanics are smooth. The front and back element has some tiny marks but given it's age it's still good. Comes in custom flight case. Asking 2800€ + shipping. Located in Stockholm , Sweden Thanks/Kalle
  5. Hi all, I'm selling a lightly used set of Angenieux Optimo DP Rouge zooms, one 16-42mm and one 30-80mm. I'm the original owner and took good care of them. The lenses are optically perfect and display only light wear on the bodies. They've also been checked recently via Panavision. Each lens comes with a custom flight case, plus the original documentation, spare colored rubber rings (blue and red), a zoom stick, a zoom support. I'm also including 2x 8" 15mm rods and 1x screw on zoom motor bracket. As you probably know, these lenses are quite spectacular. I'm in Los Angeles and prefer local pickup if possible. Also of interest, the pair were made later in the production cycle, after the rear element housing was re-engineered to be slightly lower profile. The package includes: 1x Angenieux Optimo DP Rouge 16-42mm lens 1x Angenieux Optimo DP Rouge 30-80mm lens 1x flight case for 16-42mm 1x flight case for 30-80mm 2x zoom sticks 2x sets of original documentation, plus spare blue and red rings 2x 8" 15mm iris rods 1x Duclos zoom motor bracket $20k for the set. Photos available upon request. Thank you!
  6. 3,200 obo. Will take cash in person. Ebay listing with photos HERE. PL mount Canon 8-64mm T2.4 zoom lens for Super 16mm cinema cameras. Perfect working order and recently serviced. Glass is in great condition! One of the same lenses used in Kathryn Bigalow's The Hurt Locker. Included is a micro force zoom control with peripherals, lens end caps, and a hard case. Hard case is option for shipping costs. I've read this can also be used on black magic cameras, as it is the proper size for the censor, but please do your own research for compatibility on your camera before purchasing.

  16. I'm selling my lovely Canon S16 vintage zoom lens. I think there is already said enough about this outstanding beautifully S16 zoom lens. Selling it because I need the money for some other investment. Don't think there is one of these zooms in better condition out there than my one - everything clean, everything smooth! The only thing what I can mention is, that there is a tiny cleaning mark on the rear glass which doesn't affect anything and it's even hard to recognize. Asking 2100 Euro + shipping costs! The lens is based in Vienna/Europe! Payment via paypal!
  17. One-of-a-kind Anamorphic or Spherical Angenieux 25-250 Zoom Lens with compact zoom motor, hand held zoom-speed controller, cables, bracket, and custom case. Excellent condition. $6950 Dan Sasaki at Panavision rebuilt and rehoused this Angenieux 25-250 HP. He added a special low dispersion front element coated with Panavision's anti-reflection coating, and a 119mm Front Filter thread. He improved the mechanics with smoother movement of the barrel and standard focus gearing at the rear of the lens. He fitted the lens with a compact Panavision Zoom motor, which can be removed, and a Panavision/Shiga glass rear 2x Anamorphic capsule that can be added with five hex bolts so the lens can be used as either anamorphic or spherical. The Anamorphic capsule alone is worth more than the entire package. This package is priced to sell fast at $6950. The lens is fitted with a removable PV mount, but a stainless steel PL flange from Zeiss, Century, or MTF Services can easily bolt on. The Anamorphic capsule; however, has a fixed PV mount and would require an adapter or remounted. I have a stainless steel PV to Canon mount that Ken Stone made which can be included in the package for an extra $450. *If purchased before May 8th 2017, I can hand deliver this to Panavision in Woodland Hills for pick-up. If purchased after May 8th, the lens will be shipped from Europe and the buyer covers shipping, insurance, and customs clearance. for images: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0NSXBkbH4f2OXpwYjBOTXp3Q28/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0NSXBkbH4f2Y2EzWkVRNzEwRjg/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0NSXBkbH4f2VV9jOTk4OTZadlk/view?usp=sharing
  18. Angenieux 70-210 F3.5 Zoom Lens - Leica R Adapted to Canon - UV Filter - Focus Rings The F3.5 is consistent throughout zoom range. Also has good short focus macro. Manual Iris/Focus/Zoom but still very lightweight for this range. Smooth rings and good amount of focus/zoom travel vs most DSLR Lenses. Love the look, resolves nicely. Don't know of any other zoom that compares without going PL or big $$ for manual control. $1000 OBO PM or Email mbentgroup + gmail
  19. Hi. Looking for K35 single lenses and K35 zooms. Let me know if you have any for sale. Thanks so much!
  20. Hi all. I have been using the Zoom H4n as a portable audio interface on shoots. I've been using a RodeLink wireless lav for single presenter shows and used the built in mics for shows with more then one presenter, but as it's not very good from a distance I have bought a Sennheiser MKE600. What I was wondering, for all you audio genius', was is there a way that I can have the Sennheiser MKE600 plugged into input 1, and another mic (for arguments sake say a sm58) plugged into input 2 whilst recording two separate audio files? I know you can adjust the gain of each pre production but it would be really helpful to be able to record using both mics and then be able to plug my sd card into my computer and have a file for each mic. So far the only way I have found is to set the H4n to MTR and record as a multi track, but its not as user friendly as the four track interface as it gives you less room to scope the gain levels... If anyone has any other suggestions then that would be greatly appreciated. All the best Lew

  23. Hi there! This is my first topic in this beautiful forum, so hello everyone :) I want to know what do you think about the Angénieux 15-150 because on the internet there's so little information and no footage. So if you have footage, you're welcome to share. Someone offers me Angénieux 12-120 and Angénieux 15-150 for 100 euro each one, so I want to know if that's a good deal for the Blackmagic Pocket too (I would use them just with the blackmagic) Greetings!
  24. Preparing for a documentary shoot which will shoot in six locations, each with a different crew and DP. We're searching for a universal package that can get each unit matching as close as possible. Cameras are Sony FS7 across the board. For the most part, we'll be renting the Canon 15.5-47 or the 14.5-60 along with the Canon 30-105. However, in one of our locations, the only short zoom available is the Angenieux 15-40. My gut says that the Ang won't mesh well with the CN-E zooms, but it's been a few years since I've shot with the Ang and wanted a second opinion. Does anyone have experience matching the Angenieuxs to the CN-E zooms?
  25. Fast zoom lens in pristine condition. No scratches, no fungus, just some slightly signs of use on the body. Comes with Vocas lens support. 16.000 Euro or 18.000 Dollar plus additional shipping cost. Lens is based in Vienna/Europe.
