  1. Interesting ad from Nov. 1943 Saturday Evening Post. DDTJRAC The Post had some great color ads in it, especially the war time issues. I'm going through about 4 feet of mags pulling out noteworthy ads now. I scan these on a large format 11 x 17 flatbed scanner. I don't know when I'll get to it, so I sent in a snapshot for your perusal. Beside cine' film, vintage advertising is a fascinating area of collection. Stationery was a big deal back in the day. No email, everything handwritten or typed. Piston rings and brake pads were also a popular ad in family magazines. Tens of thousands of ads in the archive...just need to scan em! <><><><> Daniel D. 3. I'm on YT 5 - 8 hours a day or more. I seldom watch it unless I have to. I listen to it as a podcast when I work. So, I see all sort of things pop-up on YT. For a while YT was putting up ads for illegal gun silencers from China. Lately it has been girls giving blow jobs. They started with a girl sucking on a tree branch for a cleaning company ad. YT gave up on the suggestive tree branch sucking ads, and they just go full penis blow job ads now. I don't really care. It makes for good material to archive for the historical record. But what does bother me is when I put up an old 16mm historical stag film on YT they will ban me. If you want to see the uncensored version it is here: NSFW YouTube HVAC Porn Popup Ad D. D. 7. I'll go check my spam folder. When it is empty, I still find stuff in it...pop-up ads from AOL! Not just 1 ad, but 4 or more ads. All types of ads, political, cameras, computers, business promotions.
  8. Note: I removed 2 small ads at bottom and 1 at top is desaturated Photo is from magazine ad suggesting the person may be robbed when making a bank deposit after exiting back door in the alley. 9. Hello everyone! My name is Grant. I'm a cameraman/editor from Russia. I'm 21, and I spent 5 years on learning and practicing in video industry. My dream is to shoot beautiful and interesting adverts/films with people who love it too. Unfortunately I live in Russia, in city where only weddings are popular, and no one need true quality. Of course, I participate in some "Big Moscow projects" but I understood, that the capital is not for me (non professional reasons). And now I decided to find a studio or comp., to work with outside Russia. And it is even doesn't matter where - Europe or USA/Canada. But move to another country without any contacts might be risky I want to ask you about any ways to implement my dream. Thank you for any advice. And have a nice day.
