A chance to own a unique Rollei HFT 80mm prime lens, specially modded Arri PL (via a universal mount adapter). This lens has focus and aperture gears. It is a very solid and portrait lens that covers a FF/135 sensor fine. A lens hoods is included as the medium format optics are susceptible to side light. The lens can of course be used with a mattebox which solves all these issues. The lens is fast and sharp medium format lenses, with a look based on the classic Zeiss design. The long and smooth focus throw, feels closer to that found on cinema lenses, compared to most vintage stills lenses. It is very rare to find these modded to other formats, as the aperture on the original lenses is controlled via the camera. This lens has been adapted by a lens technician making it 100% manual. Cooke Kinetal 50mm T2 Arri PL mount cine lens. The lens was designed for S16 film cameras, but the image circle is large enough to cover S35 and almost (with a slight vignette) FF/135 cameras. Rehoused by British lens technician Les Bosher, the housing is smaller and more compact than those made by TLS. The lens has integrated gears for focus and aperture, a Arri PL mount and a 95mm frontage. The optics are clean and bright with no haze, fungus or separation. There are faint cleaning marks to the front and rear optics, as is to be expected with a lens of it's age. There is some very minor play in the housing (standard for a Les Bosher lens) but the focus and aperture operate as expected. Price: £2350 (no VAT for a UK sale). For sale two cine modded Canon FL lenses, both modded to Arri PL mount. Canon FL 35mm f3.5 serial no: 23064 Canon FL 55mm f1.2 serial no: 20443 These two focal lengths have gorgeous golden flares, similar to the Canon rangefinder lenses. They are superior quality modded lenses, with solid Arri PL mounts, of a different standard to the ones that usually come up for sale on ebay. Both lenses have had their apertures declicked, with Simmod knurled front rings and custom designed front lens caps. Also included is a matching cap for a Canon FL 19mm f3.5 wide angle, a lens I previously owned, so the cap is included incase any buyer wants to also add that lens to the kit.
