Century Precision Optics Mil-Tel 100mm f1.8 PL Mount lens - dating from late 60s / early 70s I believe this is a rehoused Astro Berlin Pan Tachar 100mm f/1.8 . The lens has 18 aperture blades, a texture finish (which is seen on many Astro Berlin telephoto lenses) as well as other recognisable design features. Very characteristic swirling bokeh similar to the Helios 58mm, the lens covers S35 with ease and FF/135 with some fall off towards the corners. Professionally adapted to Arri PL. Unusually the entire front housing rotates when focusing. Optics are clean. The iris has some minor oil on the blades. Focus and aperture are a little dry, could do with a service / re-greased by a lens technician. Comes complete with front and rear caps.
