This used to be free shipping or just a nominal shipping fee. Now the shipping and customs are crazy. PLUS...the unit has gone up a lot in price. Can't say for sure, maybe $150+ raise in price. Back in the day I used to buy lots of gear from Japan and I never paid anything in customs. I heard some car collector bought a collector car from the USA and he is in Canada. Canadian customs fees were $25k on a $80K - $90K collector car. (Or thereabouts.) He didn't account for it. I guess it all came down after he bought it but did not receive it in time. Look at this thing... It used to be free shipping or very cheap shipping. Now it is $300 to ship + blind customs fees! I'm in pretty good shape with my gear...for now.
