  1. Just stay at home for quarantine due to the second round of Covid-19 of Beijing which has been trapped in lockdown for some half month, and won't has any shooting events within at least one month. But fortunately, i'm living in a little suburb area which is the one of low-risk areas, so i just be able to avoid not to stuck at home and to go out freely. But what is sad is I just lost two TVCs yesterday because of this lockdown, which are being shot on the end of this month. However, fortunately again, at least, i'm still alive.

  3. Hey guys, I'm trying to create flicker on a fluorescent fixture in a hospital. Normally I would dim down on the unit or change the voltage to create the desired effect, but there is no drop down ceiling and I can't get access to the ballast without pulling the entire fixture down, which might not be possible. Has anyone used anything to flicker a fluorescent by where the bulb connects with the fixture? My other option is to find a bad bulb which probably won't be a problem at this location, but I'm not confident that it will look right without testing it. Any ideas? All the best, Andrew
  4. Hey guys, 2 Questions: 1. I'm reviewing a storyboard that a client has sent me and they want a shot of a bird landing safely on electrical wires (telegraph poles). Should I get a VFX team to create an animation? or Is there an easier / cheaper way? 2. They also want a dead animal (sheep or horse) on the ground that has been electrocuted from the sub station. What's the best way to do this? Thanks in advance!! Jordan Watson
