A chance to own a unique Rollei HFT 80mm prime lens, specially modded Arri PL (via a universal mount adapter). This lens has focus and aperture gears. It is a very solid and portrait lens that covers a FF/135 sensor fine. A lens hoods is included as the medium format optics are susceptible to side light. The lens can of course be used with a mattebox which solves all these issues. The lens is fast and sharp medium format lenses, with a look based on the classic Zeiss design. The long and smooth focus throw, feels closer to that found on cinema lenses, compared to most vintage stills lenses. It is very rare to find these modded to other formats, as the aperture on the original lenses is controlled via the camera. This lens has been adapted by a lens technician making it 100% manual.
