  1. Any members of the Southern California guild know what the minimum rate is for Low Budget Theatrical for cinematographer or camera operator is? Does this rate apply to "short films" as well?

  3. Hey there, For one of my film management classes I have an assignment for creating my rate card. Basically, I'm looking for the average rate a director of photography position would charge as a day rate in correlation to the location of work (I.e. L.A. Workers Will have different average rate than someone in Kentucky). Along with this, we are studying the importance of not under cutting your competition, so this info would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks! John
