Hi For sale Arri Signature Prime 150mm T1.8 - will sell for the bargain of £15800 - for ref Arri list is €31.900,00 This lens has been checked out by Optical Support in London. I can share paper work if needed. Why are we selling? I thought we would use it more as it is like a 100mm in s35mm terms but my visual approach has changed. It has been used for 2 days only and demoed a few times but is still in really great condition. thank you Michael PS Re trade, I will straight swap it for a ‘mint’ 40mm. I realise there is a £7k difference between these lenses. I am happy to waive the difference if the 40mm is mint or new. I would look for a cash compensation if the 40mm it is clearly a ‘used' lens. PPS sorry about the pics didn't have white paper and used my iPhone

G'day everyone, So, I compared some stuff and wrote a thing: http://dreamsmiths.com.au/blog/why-bigger-is-better-but-not-much-else If you're interested in the objective differences of large format cinematography to regular S35mm images, you might find it worthwhile. It's a quick test comparing regular S35mm Alexa, matched for both field of view and depth of field against the shiny new Vistavision-sized sensor of the Alexa LF, using spherical lenses. If you click through to the vimeo link, you can download the full 4.4k ProResHQ file in all its glory, which I'd highly recommend pulling into a piece of grading software to look at up close. The test certainly helped clarify a few things for me. Cheers, Mark
