  2. Hi Guys, We are a production company based in Geneva, Switzerlan, and we've got a beautiful set of 6x Zeiss Standard Speed T2.1 to sell. Our set is immaculate and we've taken care of. We need to raise fund to buy a new set of lenses, that's why we sell it and we are very sad because we loved those glasses. Everything is perfect with them. The only thing to notice is that the 24mm is not hard PL but Arri B with an adapter. You can see on the pictures that the 40mm has a dust particle in the middle but it does not affect the image at all and it will be clean. Before the shipping to their new owner, the lenses will be CLA by Lahaziz of Lenziz Optics in Paris, a great technician who workes for Angénieux and Panavision. Pictures here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=192qYmCYZgSsxKzD9bQfWAYlyI5dZ9VjZ The lenses come with the Pelicase for 23'000€

  6. 27-inch iMac with Retina 5K Display Is this a good move? The base model is about $2300 and while I am doing full HD now, I plan to upgrade to 4K at some point. It's not for a job, but I want a powerful processor and if I can use the cloud and/or a seagate external HD for storage, Perhaps this will do nicely? 3.4GHz quad-core Intel i5 and an AMD Radeon Pro 570 with 4GB video memory. Comes with 8GB of RAM as standard, upgradeable to 32GB. Comes with 1TB hard drive on the base model; up to 2TB Fusion Drive on the high-end model. Thanks! dk
  7. Hello I recently picked up a Canon 814 XL and I have many questions about film speed and manual exposure. To start, Most of the time I'm going to be using Kodak film stock. 50D 200T 500T I understand these are ASA speeds correct? I read my cameras manual and i noticed that it does not read any of these film speeds. Artificial - 25 40 64 100 160 250 400 Daylight - 16 25 40 64 100 160 250 My question is, What will my camera read it as then? What does this mean for my auto exposure and manual exposure? I've read some things in these forums about over exposing manually or underexposing, if thats the case, how do i go about doing that? If someone could explain f-stops to me, or refer me to a video or something that would be great! I've seen a few videos on the subject but I'm still a little confused how f-stops and film speed coincide, and how to underexpose and overexpose, things like that. Another question. I've read about a notch hack that you can do to the Tungsten stocks to disable the filter. My question is, Why would you want to do a notch hack on a Tungsten stock when the internal filter corrects it for you?
  8. For sale is an Arriflex / Carl Zeiss Standard Speed 40mm T2.1 Mark II PL mount cinema lens. This lens has had very little use and the condition shows. No scratches, marks, oil leaks, or any other possible issues. Just an excellent, near mint condition lens. The 40mm focal length is quite rare. Price is $4500 FIRM. Located in Los Angeles. Thanks for looking!
  9. Hi! I'm downscaling my Super 16-kit and it's time to let go of these beautiful lenses. First got them to use with an Ikonoskop A-cam dII but lately I've used them for s16 film cameras (Arri Sr2, Aaton a-minima and Arri 416). Actually also tried them on a Gh4 (with mft-pl-adapter) and from 12mm and up they cover the sensor in 4k mode. They are in really good mechanical and optical condition. Some paint wear on the housings but all focus marks and text is clearly visible. So what I've got is: Zeiss Super Speed mkII Super 16mm lenses. All T1.3. 9,5mm, 12mm, 25mm and 50mm. Will sell individual lenses or all at once. I'm hoping to get a deal done quickly so first come first served (hope that's the correct english expression for it…). Prices reasonable, please contact me if you are seriously interested and we'll discuss it. Lenses are located in Stockholm but I will ship world wide (but EU preferred). Best regards/Kalle Folke, Sweden www.kallefolke.se
  10. Could it work without harming the camera? Let's say I'm shooting at 24 fps and then have someone carefully dial the speed to 48 fps?
  11. Hello All, Check this out: First instance shooting on the Redlake locam inside. Definitely quite challenging to use. Next time I'll up the light for sure to fix up some of the focus issues. Let me know any other thoughts! Thanks, Luc
