  1. Hi everyone. I was wondering if it could be optically possible to adapt an SR3 original eyepiece, designed to cover the super16 format, to an Arriflex SR1 (super16 converted) viewfinder. Do anyone know if it could be relatively easy to replace the sr3 eyepiece's mount and eventually recycling an old sr1 eyepiece's mount to let it compatible with that? What problems should I face and how could I do? Thanks
  2. Hi! I'm looking for the P+S Technik Rodenstock 25mm Super Wide Angle eyepiece or a 35 bl eyepiece for my Arriflex SR super16 converted. Does anyone have any to sell? Thanks
  3. Hi, Wondering if anyone has an Arri sr for sale? preferably UK/Europe based. Thanks
  4. I've been trying to purchase a decent Arri SR2 w/ Super16, but they're either too expensive, the sets miss a lot of vital accessories, or the cams don't seem to be in the best of shape. This has lead me to consider going for a regular SR1 or SR2 and mount anamorphic lenses. My questions: Does anyone have any experience shooting Arri 16SR or SR2 regular 16mm with an anamorphic lens? What are the biggest challenges? Do I have a lot of options with anamorphic lenses on a arri bayonet mount? Is the noise level on earlier Arri SR1's gonna be a problem for nearby sound recording? Thanks! ?
  5. Hello everyone, I was hoping to get some advice on how to remove the front of my SR2 and gain access to the lens shown in the photo here to hopefully remove it. I am trying to gain access to the screws that you can see here and I assume that I need to remove the front panel of the camera to do so. If anyone has any exploded views of the camera or any advice it would be a great help! Thanks so much for your time!
  6. I'm a student making the transition from digital to film and my next project will be shot entirely on 16mm. I'm interested in purchasing a working ARRI SR I or II. My budget is around $1200. I reside in the U.S. You may email me at willjacobscinephile@gmail.com
  7. Dear Members, I am looking for the ELMO CINEMATIC SOUND DR-1 and SYNCHRO SOUND SA-1 manual scans. SR-1 and A-1 will be also helpful, I think. Any help is highly appreciated! Erkan
  8. Hi all! I'm interested in pairing the Zeiss CP2 lenses with the Arriflex SR1. Will the flange depth on the CP2s be a able to work with the SR? Is it possible to pair these two? Thank you!

  10. HI There! I just got an Arriflex 16 SR1 (somewhat by accident) and I have a few questions. :) The seller had "1 - Video Assist Optics" listed as one of the items that comes with the camera. I thought I knew what this meant. I thought it was a viewfinder piece that would allow you to hook up a camera to it. However when the camera arrived today, what it has looks like the standard Arriflex viewfinder (like the one in the manual). The seller sells a lot of these things and all of his listings say "1 - Video Assist Optics". This being my first time owning one, do I need to get something else other than just a small video camera to have some video assist action going on? The seller is away until the 8th and I didn't ask before because I thought I understood what was what. :) Here it is the camera I have. Next question, I bought this SR1 blimp today. Anyone ever seen/used one of these? I couldn't find anything about it on the net. Just wanted to hear about any experiences with it. Thanks!
  11. My brother and I own a modified Arri SR1 and would like to get some accessories for it. I apologize in advanced- we are more familiar with lighting and grip than with camera. We are looking for the following items: -New right handle w/trigger (we have one, but the trigger is sticky so we'd like to find a new one, possibly a left handle as well) -Back body cap (right now we keep a magazine on it to keep it covered up) -Shoulder pad (we could build our own little pad but were hoping to find something that can mount tot he camera) Also looking for a vintage tripod and head too if anyone knows any places in LA (or San Francisco) that sells old film camera parts and accessories. Thanks! -Phill Matarrese
