Two tracking shots
Vishal posted a topic in Camera OperatingHi, I was wondering if someone can advise me on this. I have a short coming up and we're shooting on a Canon C100 with atomos Ninja 2 and Rokinon cine primes. At the beginning of the film there is this tracking shot we have, where it starts tracking outside into a closed garage door and then continue the shot inside. Is there anyway we can achieve this? I was thinking that if we track into completely into the door and then move the slider inside but leaving it in the same position after closing the door and then continuing the shot, will this work? It's basically trying to have 2 tracking shots to make it look like one big tacking shot. We'll be doing the tracking shot on a small Konova slider If there are any examples of these shots please feel free to share them Thanks
Tracking Shot Help (DSLR+Lens)
Caleb Benjamin Wheeler posted a topic in General DiscussionI am executing a 3-minute unbroken tracking shot for a music video using a Canon 5D Mark III and a MoVI M5 house with a ring handle. The music video takes place at a house party moving from interior to exterior. Plenty of choreography in each frame and following two main characters. I want depth of field but with soft focus so as to limit the use of pull-focus. Does anybody have an specific suggestions as to what lens would be best for this criteria? I'm thinking a fixed lens like a 35mm f/1.4 Zeiss or a Sigma 30mm f/1.4 but those are my only leads. NEED HELP. Thanks.
