  1. Alright, these were 16mm film lenses made by kowa for cinema products and were branded as Ultra T. From the brochure "Cinema Products' ultra-fast Ultra T lens series consists of four prime lenses: 9mm (T1.35); 12.5mm (T1.25); 16mm (T1.25); and 25mm (T1.25). UltraT lenses are remarkably suited for filming night-for-night with available light, providing extremely sharp definition and high resolution, with excellent contrast, good depth penetration and well balanced color saturation ... which makes them ideal for all professional 16mm production applications. " And "Ultra T primes are presently available in Cp, Arri Band Eclair CA-1 mounts. " If you have any of these lenses, contact me.
  2. I have a Cinema Products CP-16r with fungus (or something?) on one of the internal elements of the viewfinder. It appears to be on the second element of the viewing (eye) side, as it does not change focus with the ground glass. Can anyone point me to a resource for proper disassembly? I have taken the thing apart but I CAN NOT seem to be able to remove the prizim covers, unless there is some secret after the two screws are removed. This is the one thing that does not seem to be covered in any of the available documentation. Before I spend money to replace it, I want to try to clean it! Thanks for any help you might have.
  3. Hi, I have a cinema products CP-16R and I was wondering if it would run off a DC power supply of 19v, 2.5A connected to the battery terminals. I know it's supposed to be 20v but maybe it can still run off of 19v. What are your thoughts? Thanks - Aren
  4. I recently got an old CP-16A and am trying to restore it to working condition however it has one problem. When I plug it in to ac and run it nothing happens. If I leave the run button on for several minutes it will eventually start to run but very slowly. After a few more minutes it will start to run faster but never reaches sync speed (the red light is always on). If at any point I turn the run switch off the process starts back from the beginning. The power supply is good, it's giving off 20 vdc at 3 amps and I tested the camera with another power supply alligator clipped to the battery terminals and got the same results. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm trying to repair this myself without having to send it in. I'll link a video where you can see the speed ramping up and down on it's own. At the point I'd taken the video the camera had been powered on about 10 minutes.
  5. Hi, does anyone have a manual to the CP GSMO 16mm camera?
  6. Hello peeps, I've been trying to find this info for a long time, but I couldn't find anything. I already checked all the threads on the CP section, so I have to ask: Does anyone knows what's the focal flange distance of the CP-16r? Thanks

  8. Hello all! So Im fairly new to this forum so apologies if this topic has been covered someplace else but no matter how much I search it doesnt appear to come up. Anyhow, I have recently come to acquire a CP-16R that for the most part works well. However I did come across one issue with the drive pulley for the magazine; even when agitated it does not move at all. Is there by chance something that needs to be engage to make it move? And if this is unfortunately not the case what would be the proper way of going about repairing the camera? Im not a particularly handy person so unless its easy to do a service may be my best bet. Thank you!
