Legendary Richter Auto Collimator System from the mid 1980's. Complete system including a whole slew of lens objectives, lens mounts, standards with gauges, fiber optic light source, and even additional spare parts! For the past 3 years this system was sitting in storage. (It was in active service until 2014) While the system is working, it will absolutely require refurbishment to perform optimally. The optics and mechanics will require cleaning and adjustment to restore the system to its original glory and is thus sold as is in this condition. Bidding starts on eBay at $200.00 https://www.ebay.com/itm/Richter-Autocollimator-Micrometer-Cine-Lens-Optical-Bench-Arri-PL-Collimator/112731823094

I've just started becoming familiar with using a collimator to check the flange depth on lenes but had a quick question regarding reading the results (IHI). I am using a gecko-cam auto-collimator; with a lense at infinity and open fully I can measure the flange focal distance however, when I raise the f/t-stops, with some lenses the 'H' begins to move - changing my result. Is this a problem as it only happens with some lenses and should I compensate this into my results? If so how? I hope that was clear enough; please don't hesitate to ask me more questions!
