  1. I'm asking $600 USD for both mags with the case. I just had these two mags checked/serviced by Andree Martin of AM Camera last month, so you know they're good to go. Invoice from AM Camera is included with the images of the mags. I also just had Innerspace install new foam, since the old foam had gotten sticky/melty. I bought these from one of the big Otto Nemenz auctions around mid-2012. Available for local pick up in Brooklyn, NYC (preferred in-person sale). I can also ship at buyer's cost. I won't sell just one mag, or just the case. Besides working on the Arri 35-3 (AKA the "Arri 3"), these are also compatible with the Arriflex 2C and 3C. You can even use these on the 235 and 435, but if you want to go faster than what they were designed for (120 fps), you'd want to use a 435-style mag on your 435, like if you want to go up to 150 fps. Feel free to DM me with any questions.
  2. I’m having a problem loading my film. When I load the feed side of the mag and run the film through the take up side, I plug the mag into the camera and do a test run but there’s a bad sound and the film gets spooled up in the feed opening, there’s too much slack that doesn’t go away when winding, and the stock gets punctured. Is there any way to fix this? I changed to a different mag and it’s still a problem.
  3. Hello, i am looking for a Magazine for my XTR Prod is anyone by any chance selling one or knows someone who is? thanks!
  4. Hi, I have for sale set of 2 steadicam magazines for Moviecam SL. These are 400 ft, active displacement magazines. I bought them from Cinegate-Germany (respected rental), they told me everything works, but I've never used them, because I don't have access to SL camera unfortunately, so sold as UNTESTED. Payment via Paypal. PHOTOS PRICE: €500 + shipping

  6. Mag is in beautiful condition, serviced by Andree Martin at AM Camera. One of the cleanest SR3 mags I've encountered, with only minor cosmetic blemishes on the exterior. Mag has been used on a project this past week and works perfectly. Selling this mag because I have 4 total with my SR3 package and don't have a need for a fourth. Pickup in LA preferred but willing to ship. $1000 Photos: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1FQkf0rpufyD6I2uV0rgARU7xGfSymo9T?usp=sharing
  7. Hi all, I was out shooting with my 16 bl earlier and everything was running correctly. Just trying it again now and both magazines I was using are extremely stiff. It was quite a cold morning but I wouldn’t expect that to be the issue. Does anyone have any advice? Thanks,
  8. I know these are rare- Looking for x2 Arri 416 Magazines, let me know if you have any to sell. Many thanks.
  9. The mags are old obviously, but are in proper working condition. One is a model S10, and the other is model S10B. Here's the ebay listing for more photos and details. https://www.ebay.com/itm/184708280797
  10. Hi there, I am new here, hello! ?My first question is about an Arriflex SR2 mag I just bought. I have a SR2 that was moified for S16 long time ago. Now I would like to know what modification I would need to do to use a normal SR mag with my camera. Is it only the pressure plate or are there any other modifications that I need to go through? I read somewhere that the tunnels must be widened but I dont really see why because the material is the same, isn't it? ? Yours, D.C.
  11. I recently got an Aaton LTR 7 serviced and have been practicing loading it and running film through it for a project. It has 2 mags. One of the mags is making a scratching sound and I am not sure what it is. The only difference between the mags is the rubber stoppers on the load in side seem to keep getting ground down everytime I run a roll through the camera on this problematic mag. Is there another reason that the sound could be happening and if not do you know why these are being grounded down? improper loading? The roll maybe has to be completely flat when loading? I'm really not sure and would appreciate any help. Thanks!

  13. Does anybody happen to know where I might be able to find a working 400' magazine for an Eclair ACL II? I haven't been able to really find any on ebay recently. Thanks!
  14. Hello, I am looking for an Arri mag, 60/200 ft which is for the 35-3/2C, but also fits the 235. I am attaching a pic to show which one i am talking about. thx in advance Kimon
  15. Hello, It seems I can't attach my 400ft mag bolex motor to the mag. Position is correct (with the motor cable pointing to the mag) but even pressing strongly the motor remains unlocked and I am not able to turn clockwise. Are there two versions of motors or some part is missing from mine? I attach pictures of both. Marcos
  16. I'm thinking one of my Arri 2c magazines has a leak since some footage has come back throbbing. Is there a method for testing this? Like closing a little light inside it and see if you can detect any light coming through in a dark room? Thanks!
  17. Hello Everyone. I just wanted to let everyone know that I am selling a Great little Bolex H16 EBM Camera Package on eBay. eBay item number: 222563920707 http://www.ebay.com/itm/BOLEX-H16-EBM-Electric-16mm-Movie-Camera-Kit-AMAZINGLY-GOOD-CAMERA-PACKAGE-/222563920707?hash=item33d1d7eb43:g:JscAAOSwHLNZVGvt There is a link to a Youtube video demonstrating its operation in the description for the eBay listing. I have many detailed photos of all the items in the Auction, drop me a message and I will gladly send them to you.
  18. $500, Or Best Offer. A set of two very rare 400' Fromm Shoulder Mags. For Arri 35mm 2C or 3C. Previously owned by Ron Dexter (see pics). I didn't buy them from Ron, but from an Operator in Los Angeles in 2009 as part of a 3C kit which has just sold. Tested/checked out by a technician when I bought them but have not been used. Comes with two spare drive belts and one shoulder bracket that attaches under the mag. NO CASE included. Will not sell one, only selling as a set of two. These are currently in Secaucus, NJ. May be able to meet a buyer with them in Brooklyn or Manhattan to exchange for cash if you don't want to go to Jersey.
  19. Hi Everyone, I'm moving to South America in May and the time has come for me to purge items I simply can't take with me and/or never use. I'm sure many of you know this is painful. But there is no sense in me keeping these items in storage. I've tried to price them as low as I can to get rid of them quickly. There is some wiggle room for some of the more expensive items. Deals can be made if buying several items. I use Stripe for payments which accepts most credit cards. I do have some of these items on Etsy as well for those who feel more comfortable using it to pay. $900: First thing I'd like to see go to a good home is my Arriflex 16SR. I bought it to shoot a film noir but couldn't raise the budget and can't take it with me so it's for sale. It works fine and it works great with the blimp below. I bought this used from a dealer. The viewfinder is clear with no yellowing. The camera runs smoothly. This camera package comes with: 1 - Arriflex SR16 16mm motion picture camera 1- Eyepiece with eye cup 2 - 400' cartridges 1 - Battery Adapter 1 - Power cable 1 - Power adapter for plugging the camera into an outlet NO LENSES ARE INCLUDED. $900: If you have an Arriflex 16SR, you'll love this awesome sound blimp! You can't hear the motor at all once your Arriflex is in this beast. This item may possibly have to ship via Amtrak for the best shipping price. I shipped a Tuba that way and it only cost about $60 so I would imagine this would be cheaper. It's extremely heavy so you'll have to use it on a heavy duty tripod (I have some of them for sale too). When the camera is inside, you plug in the wires and you are able to completely control the camera from the buttons on the outside of the blimp. $600: Custom Bolex Rex 4 Sound Blimp. - Rare blimp but can't take it with me. It makes the Rex 4 ultra silent indeed. It's really heavy so it may be beneficial to ship via Amtrak. $400: Tobin Crystal Sync Motor for Bolexes - I only used this motor once on my Bolex Rex 5 and it works great! $80: Canon 514 xl-s with Case and Microphone - This camera comes with the original case (see condition in photo) and the original microphone. NOTE: Although this is a sound camera, sound film for this camera is no longer available. You can use this camera with modern Super8 films. With batteries inserted, the motor runs smoothly and the battery check works. This camera is untested with film and is being sold as-is.
  20. Selling a Moviecam 1000' load magazine with case. Asking price: $300 or best offer. Located in LA, shipping within the US. Private sale.
  21. Hi all, After starting out my "follow the 16mm dream" journey with a Arri Sr2 one and a half year ago I've now reached the wonderful position to own both a Aaton A-Minima and an Arri 416! Now nothing can stop me spending (loosing) money on personal projects that will go on forever… but every roll is a joy and a great learning experience! Today I encountered a problem with one of the magazines (or with my loading of it maybe?). The film was taken up unevenly and eventually started scratching the sides of the take-up chamber. It made a noise that was quite unusual for the normally super quiet camera. When looking (feeling) for the problem in the changing bag I noticed that the film was cone/wave-like. I tried to even out the film and loaded the mag on the camera once again. After some meters of shooting the sound came back and I unloaded the exposed film. I evened the roll again when putting it in the can. Maybe that will cause scratches on the film? It's only the fourth time I load these magazines so I may have done something wrong that didn't create enough tension. One thing I've noticed is the the lay-on roller arm isn't touching the film and core straight away. There's a small screw that keeps it from coming all the way down. After some more film has rolled up on the core it does engage (or how to explain it). This screw functions like this on all my three mags, and from what I can tell from videos and pictures online this is the way it should be, so not sure if that could cause the problem. The film I used is a expired Fuji Eterna 400T that has been in the fridge at my local lab before I got it. It did feel a bit loose when I loaded the feed side also, can this have anything to do with it's age? I'll keep testing to find out more, but I only brought this mag with me now, so can't compare and test the other mags yet. Anyone who can think of a logical explanation and a solution? Thanks!
  22. Hey everyone. I'm selling an Arriflex 400' mag for PARTS or REPAIR. Please check the ebay link below for details. Starting bid is $0.99 USD. Thanks for looking. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Arriflex-16mm-400-magazine-for-Arri-S-FOR-PARTS-OR-REPAIR-/181626857746?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2a49cde912
  23. So I was thinking about getting a Beaulieu R16. Looks to be a fun camera, and they can all fit a magazine on top. However, I've been told that they can only hold 200 foot daylight spools, which I haven't seen for sale on line. So here are my questions. If I had empty 200 foot spools, could I halve a 400 foot reel from a core in a darkroom? Well, I know it's possible but my concern is knowing when I've reached the 200 foot mark. How would I measure that in a darkroom? The other question is probably more of a camera question, but if I wanted to for whatever reason could I use a 100 foot r90 spool in the 200 foot mag? Not as important of a question as the first one, but nice to know. Thanks all!
