  1. https://youtu.be/rgTz3YY7Hpk I've recently upgraded to a macbook pro XDR display + my Pocket 6k allows me to shoot & grade videos in HDR. Check it out what do you think is the technology ready or is good quality HDR still reserved for mastering suites like Dolby? Any experts know as well how to shoot an LCD screen and avoid the refresh line? Is is the shutter angle setting and in that case what angle should I use in the future? Constructive feedback is appreciated!
  2. What's New? This is a brand new Natural Rec709 conversion LUT that I've created specifically for the Gen 5 Color Science as requested by fellow filmmakers. Humbled that so many put in a request after the success of the original P4K LUT and BMD OG Rec709 LUT. Thank you. LUT Features ALL NEW Kodak Vision 2 Cine Curve * softer highlight roll-off preserved shadow detail balanced saturation organic (camera) colors *Not a mathematically accurate film response curve. More an obsessive compulsive interpretation on my part based on analysis of numerous film chart data. Download Page: https://bulentfilms.yolasite.com/ (Scroll down to Blackmagic Camera LUTs)

  7. Hello all, So I film on the Blackmagic Pocket Cam, which is infamous for how fast it heats up. Now I've never had a problem with it overheating, I have generally been filming in A/C cooled indoor areas. However, I'm beginning production for an upcoming film, and most of the filming will be done outside... oh, and lest I forget, I happen to live in the great state of Texas where the average Summer temp. is around 96 degrees Fahrenheit. I'm a little worried about it overheating in the outdoor temperatures. So my question is: how do you keep a camera cooled down without damaging it with ice/water?
  8. Hello all, As I've been expanding my crew and becoming more involved with just directing actors, I've been looking to buy an external monitor for my BMPCC so I won't have to work back and forth to check shots. My question is, do any of you guys have a suggestion for an external monitor for the Blackmagic that is under the price of $200? Thanks! John
  9. Hello all, I have recently bought an Angenieux 12-120mm type 10x12 B lens for the Blackmagic Pocket Camera. Upon buying this lens, I believed it to be a C mount; to my surprise, it is not. Could someone help me identify what type of mount this lens has exactly? Thanks, John W. King
